For what it is - a relatively simple motel - it was excellent. Nice location (the rooms with a balcony are worth the slightly higher rate). Very clean. The rooms were well appointed. Beds were comfortable. Easy to walk to coffee, dinner, etc. I would absolutely stay again.

Great Choice

Fantastic hotel with clean, spacious and lovely rooms. Super comfortable bed. Some of our party had a creek side room and we saw deer walking the creek which was worth the $10 extra. Short walk into beautiful town which has great restaurants and a lovely french cafe for breakfast. Samantha at front of house friendly and courteous. We loved Cambria and would have loved longer stay

Really lovely stop

Very comfortable room in a great location.  Short walk to many restaurants.  I wish we had more than one night to stay here in Cambria.  My only complaints, and the reason for 4 instead of 5 is that the water pressure in the shower was really poor; and there was not enough coffee for the morning.

Comfortable stay

After reading the reviews of a comfortable stay near town, I chose to stay here and I'm happy I did. Most important to me - the bed was supportive and comfortable and the mini-split air kept the room cool at night. I had a terrace overlooking a small creek that was lovely. The room has a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker which also made for an easy stay. The location was ideal as I enjoy walking into town so this is the only place I'd want to stay in Cambria. 

Location Location Location!

Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous. Probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in. Samantha was fantastic. When I thought I’d lost my keys she was so kind and lovely, telling me it wasn’t a problem and simply replaced them. The town itself is simply charming and the Creekside Inn is perfectly located.

Sooooo comfortable and fantastic service

Delightful surprise! The room is extra large, and there is a patio with a sliding glass door on the backside! We sat out there with a glass of wine, overlooking the creek, and just enjoyed being outside at the end of the day.
Comfortable bed, small table, easy chairs, and the other usual amenities. Large shower pan, where a bathtub used to be.

Great place !! Very clean and rooms were nicely updated. We enjoyed the balcony and the early morning visit by a doe and her 2 x fawns. Perfect greeting to enjoy our twin girls birthday :)
Also enjoyed meeting and talking with Samantha.

Enjoyed our stay .......

The balconies are worth the $$$ We brought back wine as everything in Cambria closes pretty early and we had a lovely evening looking out to the small creek. My father and nephew enjoyed the view a the deer that were there as well. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful

The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable. While located at the end of town it is still In walking distance from several Cambria restaurants and a very short drive to Moonstone Beach.  The only downside was that there wasn’t daily maid service but in fairness this seems to be the situation at many hotels. It wasn’t a problem, if we need anything we just had to ask. All in all it’s a nice hotel and we’d stay there again.

Second stay here.  Pros:  Walking distance to shops and restaurants, clean floors and bathroom, comfy bed, stream in the back with croaking frogs (the sound does not bother me), a doe with her two fauns were out near the stream (so fun to watch).
Cons: Low water pressure in the shower.
Would stay again.
