Spent a couple of nights at Blackberry Inn on our way up to Acadia NP. The rooms at the Blackberry inn are the definition of cute, well decorated and surprisingly spacious. Easily one of the best B&B stays we've had, a wonderful way to interact with fellow travelers and lovers of Maine summers.

Perfect B&B Experience

We were here several couples for a weekend.  The accommodations and food were excellent.  The hosts and staff were wonderful; we enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them during our stay.  We would definitely come back. .   

A Charming B & B with wonderful hosts!

We really enjoyed the Blackberry Inn. We had one of the garden rooms, it was very nicely decorated, had a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Everything was clean and the fireplace was a nice touch on the rainy night when we arrived. The owners Bob and Cat were engaging and very helpful about the local area.  The breakfast which is served in 2 courses was very good. Now we were there in Oct so prices may have been lower, but I thought this place was a great value. The Inn is located walking distance from the downtown and that would be essential in the summer when the town is packed. Overall I rate this place a 5 of 5.

A truly Maine Inn Experience

We had a room around the back of the Inn with a private entrance.  It had a very comfortable bed!  Breakfast was delightful.  The Inn is a short walk into Camden.  While on a main road, it was quiet at night.  The owners are lovely and accommodating.

A Lovely Stay

The BlackBerry Inn is the perfect 
B & B.  The owners are lovely people and the breakfast was amazing!!  The property was fully booked but very quiet!  It’s within walking distance to town and Camden is a very cute town.  We would definitely book this Inn again!

Lovely home, gracious hosts!

We stopped in Camden on a family road trip through New England.  We stayed in the Birch Retreat which comfortably accommodated a family of four.  Unique and charming room.  Comfortable queen bed.  Breakfast was wonderful on the patio.  Great location within walking distance of the town.  Innkeepers were great!

Nice Stopover in Camden

We stayed (two couples) for a few nights in September and really enjoyed our visit. The owners, Cat and Bob, were ideal hosts, the rooms very comfortable, well appointed and clean, and the breakfasts delicious. The inn is a short uphill walk from the centre of Camden. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and places to see here too so we can highly recommend a stay at The Blackberry Inn.

Superb - such a great place to stay!

They were very accommodating in taking our last minute reservation. The property is clean and well kept - as well as being pretty. Our room had recently been redone - very tasteful with a comfortable bed and attractive antiques + a working gas fireplace as well as baseboard heat. The room was super clean. The owners - Kat and Bob - are charming and very hospitable. A small but very helpful thing was giving us a two-page spread sheet of things to see and places to eat in the area. So much more helpful than having a book in the room that you can't take with you or mark up. We'd definitely go back again. 

Great B and B in Central Maine

Upon our arrival we were greeted so warmly by Cat Dobson who graciously showed us around the main floor and explained everything we needed to know for our stay.  We stayed in the "Library" room on the main floor, adjacent to the office.  We loved our four-poster bed, gas fireplace (which we used), and the beautifully appointed room.  It was nice to have a separate toilet room and a shower room.  The entire home is decorated beautifully.  We walked a short ways to the village for dinner since parking there seemed limited. We appreciated having off-street parking next to the Inn.   Our breakfast was scrumptious: glazed pineapple and pancakes. Once in a while it's nice to stay in such a delightful place!

Delightful place to stay

From check-in to check-out, this was a perfect stay. The Inn is easy to find, close to downtown, and charming from the get-go. There is ample parking. We were greeted at the door by Cat, who showed us around the home and gave us some information about the area. She was charming and willing to field all of our questions. Our room was large, clean, and had all amenities that we would need. We especially appreciated the large, recently remodeled shower, which can be a rarity with B&B's. Breakfast, cooked by Bob, was delicious. Checkout was seamless. Beyond the kind innkeepers and the perfect location, we were also very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. We would love to visit again!
