They are listed as pet friendly but definitely are not. We booked are trip at the beginning of the week as we where coming up to see family and where bringing are small beagle.  Once I was checking into the hotel and already given my id and credit card Brent asked if we had any pets I said yes our beagle. He then said he was refusing to check us in as he had no pet friendly rooms since they have done a remodel.  I told him the website still states pet friendly.  He became very rude and even refusing to give us information on how to contact management. He finally tossed a card at my husband and said he canceled our room.  We have stayed there before with our pet and no issues but with this Brent person definitely no pets will be allowed.

Stayed Sept !7th-19th with a bus trip from Indiana to visit MSQC in Hamilton. Rooms were clean, beds fantastic, breakfast ok. Indoor pool looked nice but didn't use it. Be ready to do stairs if staying on 2nd floor. Would stay again if traveling in the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had another hotel overbooked I looked up online and it said pet friendly. I called ahead and was assured they had one room left. And that it was reserved. When I got there and checked in the clerk was quick and welcoming. Then when I walked in with my dog he said I can’t let you stay in that room! And we don’t have another. He then said if he let me stay they would charge me an “outrageous fee” I was tiered and ask how much he said a couple hundred dollars I said fine I just need a place to sleep. He said he could not let me stay. My understanding if a place is “pet friendly” then there should not have been the drama. He pointed at a sign on the wall “pets can stay with approval.” And said he only had 6 rooms in the hotel for pets. 
I think they need to remove pet friendly from the adds as this is false advertising.

Not Pet friendly at all!

I will submit a review but the building is under renovations so everything will probably be changed and upgraded in near future.   Check in was good.  I cant recall name of attendant but he was pleasant and explained the place was under renovations, front area, breakfast area were all in that re-do zone.  He said rooms would soon be undergoing changes as well.    No elevator.  Room was clean and quiet.  Breakfast was okay but limited choices - again probably due to the reno,  the breakfast counter was not very big.   Pool was also under renovation so we didnt get to use it.   Was easy to find, staff was pleasant,  rooms were fine.   Would stay here again.   

Under Construction /Renovations

Very friendly & very accommodating to our needs.  I had booked on the app and needed a pet friendly room but there was no place to request that on the app.  When I got there I told him right away and he made sure we were in the correct room in a very convenient area of the property - ground floor and 2 doors away from a door to the doggy area.

Dog friendly and VERY friendly staff

My rating is given with the consideration that this is a budget hotel and cannot be held to 5 star standards. This facility was clean and adequately appointed. Although I cannot remember his name, the gentleman who checked us in was exceptionally cordial and accommodating. Should we be in the vicinity again, we would definitely choose this hotel.

I called to book a room tonight for a family that had a house fire and I asked for the Diamond upgrade from 2 queen to 3 queen and I was LIED TO!!! The owner/manager told me flat how that they couldn't honor any kind of upgrade because they had no rooms available!!! LIARS!!!!! I checked and they have 3 yes THREE rooms available right now with three beds in addition to SEVERAL other rooms with two. (See the screenshots below). They do NOT honor their commitment as a Wyndham hotel.

Stopped here during trip and was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was for the money. Nice room and great bed, very comfortable. Good location too. Close to fast food and restaurants. Quiet too!

Will stay again!

A++++++++ Awesome place to stay.  Check in and out is a breeze.  Very friendly staff that remembers me every year and greets me with a smile.  I hear that a remodel is coming in the near future so that will make it even better.  Smoke free facility and pets are welcome.  I love this place.  Easy access to interstate, highways, gas and shopping!

Hands Down....Best stay in and around Cameron MO

I booked this hotel for a little family vacation for the summer. I booked it on Priceline.com. The website said nothing about the pool being closed. When we went to the hotel, the children were all excited about the pool and the lady at the counter said the pool was closed. I asked her if there was any way to cancel the reservation so we could get a hotel with a pool. She said it was not a problem to cancel my reservation. Since my reservation was canceled, I went to another hotel with a pool that was in working order. She said she would cancel the amount that was supposed to be charged to my credit card. Later that night, I looked it up and the charge was still on my credit card. Next I called Priceline and told them what had happened. They called directly to the hotel and asked for the ladies name at the counter. I did not know this because she said she canceled the order so I did not think to take her name. Plus it is a small town, so I’m not sure how they wouldn’t know who was working the front counter. They said I had to contact the owner and they gave me her email. I did contact the owner and of course she did not email me back. I also got a hold of my bank to try to cancel this transaction but it was too late. Why would I book another hotel if this one was never canceled? Disgusting customer service. The owner does not care to reach out to you when there is a problem. I also reached out to super eight and they said since this hotel was locally owned, there was nothing they could do. I will never stay at this hotel, and I hope you do not either. They lie or about canceling your stay and charge you afterwards. I have never been treated so rudely by a hotel before I would recommend not staying at this hotel or any other super eight hotels unless you want horrible customer service
