This place is amazing and very cozy. The jacuzzi tub is the best and gigantic! Very friendly and a good place to escape from the craziness of day to day life and get a quiet peace of nature. Just a beautiful place to stay!

10 year anniversary

I LOVED staying in this cabin the husband and wife were very pleasant and nice! At one point the husband came over to show us how to use the shower, he even asked if he could come in to show us instead of just waltzing in! Their puppy is SO adorable! They thought of everything when it comes to amenities! The hot tub was amazing and we were happy to see they do chemical treatments daily. The jet tub was also AMAZING! We will definitely be coming back again for a couples trip! We had the best time! Thank you Debbie and Brian! Enjoy an aerial picture of the cabin and mountains taken by my husband's Drone the last evening we were there!

Amazing little cabin

This little cottage was outside of my normal price range but decided to slurge for my anniversary. They were really easy to work with from the start. But when we arrived-omg everything was perfect. Beautiful and clean with every possible need covered and supplied. They even had homemade cranberry goodies waiting for us. The area was beautiful, and the cottage was just like magazine. My only complaint was that I booked 2 nights instead of more!!

Best experience for the money

We were at this lodge for 4 nights and had a wonderful stay.  Debbie is an excellent hostess and served us very elegant breakfasts, they are always 3 courses!!  There is a large seating area and lounge and outside seating on the porch and in the gazebo!!  Several attractions are very close: Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and the Royal Gorge!

Wonderful stay!

We stayed in the Romana and UTE room in the bed and breakfast. Debbie is a wonderful lady and an outstanding cook. The rooms were very homey and the whole experience makes you feel like you are at home. We got snowed in our first trip there but didn't care. She is closing the B&B but me and the wife will definitely be staying in the cabins when we go back. Please go if you get a chance.

Amazingly Wonderful

This is a wonderful clean and cozy lodge .
The rooms are smaller consider when the lodge was originally built , rooms were not huge like they are today . Like I stated it make it cozy and clean  & comfortable .  We had a little balcony off the room and sat out at night and enjoyed a glass of whine  .
Breakfast was excellent !! Location is great , you have access to Pike Peak across the Highway ,  Your in between Old Colorado City (Colorado Springs) and Woodland park Hiking ,  Mountain Biking , Fishing its all there . Or just relax at the lodge .  I would recommend this lodge ,  Yes I would !

A Gem in Gold Country

My hubby and I stayed at the Midland Room in August 2018. The lodge oozes old world charm, with its breathtaking mountain views, lovely fire place and furnishings which also live up to its name. The owner, Debbie, is a lovely host who made us feel right at home, making the effort to bake us cookies and preparing hot coffee in a pot early in the morning with, thoughtfully supplying take-away cups so we can pack coffee for our week-long conference. The 3 course breakfast is delicous as Debbie cooks her different creations every day from her 2 cookbooks. Highly recommended for the traveller looking for a mountain lodge experience and great hospitality.
