The front desk lady was very polite and really nice to talk to. She even told me a story about a ghost in Gettysburg at the college. The room was nice very clean it just had a musty smell when you walked in because of the place being shut up and it being an old motel. The place just needs to be updated.

Great visit

I cannot begin to warn you about this place! Stay in your car if you have to, I wish I did.  The smell is horrible,  the beds are dirty. ...everything is dirty! Our shower was so filthy that we couldn't stomach to use it. My friend was brushing her teeth & cockroaches were coming out from behind the mirror.  We slept on top of the blankets. We arrived at 2am,  was told we could check out late so we could sleep. ...we were out by 7am! It's now our little joke but you could never get either of us to stay again...& we are not picky people!

Never ever ever EVER again!!

My girlfriend and I have stayed in a lot of hotels that were bad but this hotel at the North Ridge motel in Gettysburg Pennsylvania is the worst hotel ever we have ever stayed at. It's dirty.  the room smells like smoke the rugs are stain the sheets of burnt with cigarette burns the shower head looks like it's never been cleaned along with the faucet in the bathroom sink the toilet is dirty. When we went out for the day they never came and cleaned the room  the furniture is falling apart. Once you pay for the room you cannot get your money back if you're not satisfied after checking in. The Health Department should come to this facility close it down for good and condemned it.

The worst hotel ever.

As soon as we pull up there is people lurking around that look like they are up to no good. The floor smelled like animal piss. Stained my socks from just walking on the floor. The beds have plastic on them so it was very uncomfortable. By the 2nd night we needed towls. (We only had 2 and those smelled like mildew).They then tell me they don't have any because people steal them (as if that's my problem) and then tells me there is a 24hr Giant near buy where I could get some.... Excuse me but why the hell would I pay for my own towls? The bathroom door gets stuck, the blinds don't work (we had to hang a hand towel up so no one can see in). There is holes and what looks like mildew all in the bathroom. I will be filing something with BBB ( better business bureau) and speaking to a manager about a refund or some money back. Save your money and go somewhere else.

WORST PLACE EVER

This was by  far the worst place I have ever been in.  When we drove up, there were a few shady looking characters standing in the doorways acting very suspicious.  As soon as we walked in the door, I started to sneeze and got a creepy crawly feeling.  It was approximately 9:30-10:00pm  when I sat on the bed I could feel the metal around the end of the mattress.  There was plastic on the mattress, if you looked under the bed you could see part of the material from the mattress hanging down.  About 5 min after we got there, my husband went to find out about getting another room, and the office was closed!  I have very bad allergies to dust mites and I had to use my breathing machine twice while there.  The bathroom was terrible, the blinds on the bathroom window were broken and when yo closed them, you could still see through them.  This place should be condemned and tripadvisor should be ashamed for listing this hell hole.  We had it booked for 2 nights because we were visiting Gettysburg but we only said one night and that was one night too much.  I am asking for a refund and complaining to and reporting conditions to whoever will listen to me.
