The inlu reason I gave this travesty a 2 is that it is conveniently located on the Pinhoti Trail for hikers. The bathroom smelled like a nursing home and when I opened the fridge, a cockroach climbed out. Absolutely disgusting. No working TV. Avoid if all possible and find a room in nearby Rome

Awful

The owner was very nice but the place is extremely outdated. It needs a whole remodel amd the furniture is at least 30 years old. The carpet was scrap pieced together. Bed was old and uncomfortable. Room smelled like chemicals like nail polish remover or something. We didn't stay. And unfortunately they charged my card at check in instead of check out like most hotels are supposed to do. So I have to wait however many days for the refund to go back on my card. True it's a more inexpensive motel but just for $30 more you could get something nice.

Don't waste your time

It was about 0130 hours in the morning so we decided to spend to look for a place to spend the night.  We were still quite a ways from home.  We stopped here.  Obviously at this time of night and in a  small town, no one would be at the front desk.  I rang the buzzer outside a window and after a couple minutes this goofy looking middle easterner appeared.  His face, you'd have to see it, scared the heck out of me.  I asked what his room rates were, knowing they couldn't be much.  The first thing this idiot foreigner asked was "do you have COVID".  Granted I was very tired at the time so I said "what did you say" and he asked "do you have COVD" and my response was "I don't know".  Sometimes you gotta play along with stupid people.  I then got in my car and drove away.  If you haven't realized by now, most of all small motels and hotels and the majority of convenience stores are owned by those from the middle east.  It's their way of taking over this country without firing a shot.  The sad thing is, we are allowing it.  Bet this doesn't get posted.

Returning home

Nasty Hotel Filthy room carpets were gross, the bead spread was stained and so were the sheets. roaches everywhere. found someone's pills on the floor did not stay and would not give money back for the 2 nights we booked.

It was very nasty, not including the floor tiles were loose, stove didn't work to add to that roaches everywhere and for $280 a week it should be at least a 4-5 rated we left 2 days earlier after the 3rd week and they would not even refund us for 1 day very unsatisfied would not reccomend

About the hotel

The photo are the sheets in my room.  I asked to have them changed and was told the laundry room was closed.  Don't ever consider staying.  The furniture in the room has cigarette burns and had not been replaced in over a decade.

Filthy

We stayed at the Creekside Inn a couple of weeks ago.  The "renovated" room was at least clean, which is why I gave the place two stars instead of one. The design of the room was odd (it had a strange area with a kitchen sink, but it was not a kitchen), and it had no amenities - iron, hangers, shampoo, etc.  The towels in the bathroom were dingy and, although we used them, we did so reluctantly.  There were thumb tacks along each wall of the room, which we found to be strange.  The TV was a flat screen television, but it was small and the volume could not be controlled.  The inn keepers were nice people, and the inn is located within walking distance of everything in town.  However, we did not feel like it was a nice place.  We could not imagine how an unrenovated room might look - and don't want to know.  If we need to stay near Cave Spring again, we will not stay there again.  We will either choose a bed and breakfast or stay in nearby Rome.

Choose someplace else

Wifi can not connection. Mold in bathtub. Toliet handle is broken& water come up to flush twice. In take shower , water flood up. No extra towel or wash rag. Smoking is come thru from air is smell bad make me cough a lot & headache .  Need sign languages & speak English . Need America who know sign languages & English period. Not other languages & need to write if can't sign languages. Bed is hard . Pillow is lousy flat I hate it. Air conditioner need cleaning. Need smoking people outside not inside.need machine of ice outside. Wifi work outside but inside not working. U need tower. I have make reservation but they cancel & told me come see me in person to see if available & I got one but I have  pay late fee . Suppose $110 for 2 nights but they charge me 160.00 plus 5 .00 for keys until is over give u $5.00 back to me. This is wrong doing. I hate their attitude & their way how treat me like idiot.
