Mold on the windows, unclean, untouched and unpainted. Shame on e for trusting our good deal we got. We will absolutely never be back. The park was not worth this awful room. Needs a deadbolt and the chain on the door that is bolted to the molding ripped out of the wall. There are holes in the wall and bathroom door. An absolute joke.

Awful 

We checked in to what we thought was going to be the hotel.  It was a small bare building down the road.  I called management and was told I could check into the hotel for 123 more dollars above the 252 I had already paid. I had to because the room we were in was unacceptable and there was the smell of marijuana wreaking through the halls and into our room. I expressed this to the supervisor who didn't seem to care at all. After checking in again to the main Hotel I was very disappointed by the run-down room that we were given. The sink was stained and cracked paint chips for off the wall and the floor boards were coated in dirt and dust. After my stay I emailed them to let them know how disappointed I was never heard back from them

Disgusting and gross

First off why/who thought of the genius idea to have a separate building a mile away from the actual in need of repair resort for checking in?? Most inconvenient experience I have ever dealt with not to mention the airport/rental car feel you get while checking in at the mile away building!! HATE places that are not for hotel guests only so many disrespectful people, nothing is enforced, staff was slim and parking was abused by the non hotel garbage clientele. Pool water smelled like raw sewage and bottom of kiddie pool was disgusting!! Very few seating and just a disappointing experience. Kids had fun but they aren’t the ones who paid or are writing this review. Even had the opportunity to witness one of the garbage clientele let her child poop on the sidewalk, YES let her child pull down his pants and poop on the sidewalk, at least she was kind enough to pick it up and throw it away. SERIOUSLY who does that. This place needs some work but I guess for a $140 a night you get what you pay for!!

Disappointed 

First off- I wouldn’t write a bad review unless it was truly deserved. I understand it can be tough to run a business and keep everyone happy, however I’ve stayed at Chula Vista before and after looking at this place I thought it would be comparable and more suited for a family with kids. When we arrived, it turned out that that we go to a builduthats just for check-in. This building reminds you of a rental car check-in at an airport- long roped off lines. You then get a map and have to drive to the building that your room is in. Wait, what? I have to drive somewhere else?! Oh, and the Waterpark is in another building that you get to drive to. We drove to our building, which was hard to find. Upon arrival, it was less that stellar. While in the lobby of the building, I observed something that seemed like a drug deal (I’m Not making this up)! When we got in our room, it was obvious they did not take the pictures from our room for their website. Bare minimum (no coffee maker no hand towels). I got a text right after we got in our room that stated that they were under a “green initiative” and that our room would not be cleaned unless we specifically requested it (This is just a way of pinching pennies and hiding behind a trendy catch phrase). We then made our kids bunk beds because they only put the fitted sheet on  (no top sheet or blanket) and then called it a night and hoped for a much better time in the water park. In the morning we drove to the water park. When we got in there, more disappointment. Overcrowded, hardly any place to stand, swim, or sit. Long lines for anything- tubes, slides, hot tubs. They ration out the towels- 1 per guest. Not the cleanest either. After that, we had a nice meal at B-lux’s and returned to our room. Now here I sit at 11:30pm after calling the front desk twice- once at 10:15pm and again at 11:00pm. The noise in this place at night is unbearable. The neighbors next to us are soooo loud (screaming, swearing, jumping) and it’s not just them making all the noise either. Our friends that came with us left a day early- they couldn’t stand it here. I just called the front desk again- I can’t take this! I’d leave if it wasn’t so late and my kids weren’t sleeping. I didn’t read the bad reviews before I came. I should’ve, they’re all accurate! In a business that’s main concern is the happiness of their customers, this company certainly has forgotten where to focus it’s efforts. The show of the big park and stunning architecture has taken over and left cleanliness, upkeep, value, and customer satisfaction at the wayside. I won’t be staying here again. I’ll pay $100 more and stay at Chula Vista- there’s no comparison between these 2 places

Disappointing accommodations

Well after checking in with my family I was told that I would not be staying in the actual hotel but one down the road, I was very polite and told the clerk that I had clarified this via telephone when I booked my reservation but she insisted that they had no rooms available! So we stayed down the road a couple of miles and just drove back and forth! As I lay here on my last night of our vacation, it is nearly 11pm and there a children running up and down the halls, people fighting a couple of rooms down from us, someone running upstairs from us and it sounds like a heard of elephants; same thing as the last two nights but the noise continued until almost 4am! I am beyond disappointed in the “free food and play” that consisted of stale pizza and hot dogs” and when going to the water park I wanted to relax in the adult hot tub we were made to get out every 10 minutes to rotate with her guests. Absolutely awful!the cleanliness of this hotel leaves something to be desired!


Worst vacation

Save your money, when we went most rides were not operating but they still charged full price.  The indoor them park is mostly just a lot of tables and only a few rides that are not operating.  The website shows a robust theme park but it’s the total opposite, I don’t usually write negative reviews but I don’t want families to have disappointed kids who had their hopes up!
