We truly enjoyed our stay, it was very comfortable and clean! The only observation was the noise between units. We could hear entire conversations and any movement ie kitchen activity. 
It wasn’t enough to complain about but certainly woke us when they came in late or were up early. 
We would definitely come back again though…loved it for all the convenience!
And the coffee is great!

I recently stayed at the Hawthorne to attend a family wedding. My room was lovely. I had a kitchenette and view of the ocean.  The staff was friendly and helpful. It was the perfect location, I'd love to visit again in the summer.

Wedding Trip

We always enjoy staying at the Hawthorne.  It is the perfect spot on the water. The view out the window is the water, and love sitting on the beach.  We enjoy walking to town, and up to the lighthouse.  The rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly.

Perfect spot

My husband and I spent a week at the Hawthorne in early October while attending a wedding down the road. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the beautifully view and clean comfortable surroundings. Our room was cleaned and attended to daily. The Hawthorne has the best and most beautiful location in lovely Chatham on Cape Cod. We visited Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard,Provincetown and The dunes at Turo all from this convenient location. We would definitely recommend the Hawthorne, and would love to go back and visit again..

Fabulous view from this lovely hotel

For our family this motel is Cape perfection and we visited three times this summer. It is charming and simple. The private beach is quiet and beautiful.  It is fantastic to just watch the passing boats or hunt for a crab. The motel is well located a short distance from town and to shops and restaurants.  Don't miss the Chatham pier fish market just up the road. 

Cape Perfection

I had the pleasure of staying here again this year. The location and service are excellent. My room had a king size bed and ocean view. I loved it . The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean. I travel frequently and have difficulty sleeping at night. I was able to sleep restfully here. The young couple running the hotel are very competent and friendly. I look forward to a return visit again next year.

The Hawthorne Motel was a very nice place to stay in Chatham.  You can walk into the main area of Chatham.  The location is great, and it has a nice view of the ocean.  We would definitely stay there again.  Recommend!

Great place to stay

What a great property!  Beautifully kept, just the traditional 'Cape Cod' experience I was hoping for!  Came for a long weekend to attend a wedding, this was the perfect spot to stay, very close to all that Chatham has to offer

What a great property! 

We have stayed here numerous times and it remains our favorite place to spend a week. Great location with private beach, walkable to town, harbor view, spotlessly clean and quiet.  The managers Sean and Meghan are outstanding as are their staff. Grounds are manicured and this year there was an adorable little pumpkin patch. 

Hidden gem

We have been staying at the Hawthorne for years. My family has rented cottages, houses and stayed at hotels all over the cape, the Hawthorne is the best of what Cape Cod has to offer, with great prices.  The rooms are spacious, clean and quaint.  The cottage is darling and right on the water! Everyone was so hospitable and the location is superb!!  We'll be back next year...as always!!  Can't wait!
