I definitely enjoyed my stay at Serenity Pointe!  I stayed there three days. My room was large and comfortable.  The surroundings were peaceful and quiet.  It's a great get away spot, and I'll definitely be back.  Not far away, is a horseback riding place where we enjoyed horseback riding on their property.  My legs are sooo sore!  LOL

I'm not sure what the other reviewer experienced. It wasn 't scary looking at all!  But, if you're from a big city and have never experienced country living, it just might seem scary.  

On our last day, we were sent off with a bigger breakfast than what we had the days we were there, and some fresh baked muffins too!  

Loved it!  Will be back!

I'M COMING BACK! WITH FRIENDS!

We booked a room at this B&B in early September for a weekend in mid October.  After receiving multiple confirmations, the day of our planned arrival, I received an email stating that our reservation was accepted due to a "technical error" and the the rooms were under renovation so our reservation was being cancelled.  I tried to call and discuss but both phone numbers given in the email and and on the website are no longer in service.

Completely Unprofessional

They charged me for 4 nights, when I had only booked for 3. I checked in and immediately checked back out after seeing the space. This place is pretty scary! Its not a bed & breakfast. It is their private home and they are just looking to take your money. It is a scam. There is no sign out front or anything that would say "professional" or "welcome" or "business". Its down a looonngggg gravel road (unpaved) and there are no street lights or outdoor lighting. Nothing is near you, so if anything happened out there you would literally be in the middle of the dark and in a scary old house in the middle of a random field. The house is not nice or well maintained. As a solo female in my early 30s, I did not feel safe. When I first arrived, a lady answered the door in her pajamas after I had to knock 5 times (the door was locked). I had to go to a work event, so I left for 2 hours. When I came back to get my stuff (and check out) the sun was almost down, the house was unlocked, but nobody was home and the house was completely dark. I couldn't find any lights, and I was terrified. I literally ran inside with the flashlight on my phone to grab my things and I bolted out of there. It was not a welcoming atmosphere and definitely NOT WORTH what they charge. This place is maybe worth $40/night on airbnb, but they charge you the rate of a nice hotel! Ridiculous. Of course they will not refund my money or return my calls or emails. Its complete silence. I would take them to court but its not worth my time. DO NOT STAY HERE.
