For a basic budget motel, this place was really great. The bed was super
comfortable and the room was spotless. The older man behind the desk
was friendly, as was the Owner and his wife .I just wish Motel 6 gave
shampoo in the room.
It was convenient to all the new brewpubs in the area. I would definitely
return.

VERY CLEAN COMFORTABLE ROOM

The location is good convenient close to downtown. They are doing renovation so It should be better with new items. They have renovated bathroom and new floring. Is cleaner than last time I was in there. Great close by ruby fall and downtown so food and restaurant is great

Great

Check in was easy and other guests in the lobby were helpful, opening doors for me, etc.  We were on the first floor with our pups for the weekend and had a good stay.  Hotel is convenient to many area attractions.  Our room was clean enough and same for the bed, comfortable enough.  Like all Motel 6, amenities are sparse, you get a bar of soap, no breakfast or coffee - bring all your fluffy stuff with you.  The hotel was pretty full the weekend of our stay, so there were lots of people sauntering about.

Good Stay

Nothing is wrong with this hotel, but it is neither particularly nice, comfortable or well-located. The front desk staff is slow but kind and the cleaning staff is nice but missed removing some bathroom towels from previous guests. 

Passable hotel

Not impressed! Front desk service was extremely slow, no pool, no refrigerator, no hairdryer, bathroom smelled like urine. Floor not swept. They don't offer toiletries either! Only small bar soap. BAD

Not impressed at all!

Just a place to stay for the night.   The downtown area did appear a little shady.  The staff was accommodating but the free coffee (no breakfast at all) ran out way too early.  Paying the price I did, we should expect more for the money.  Having to check out early enough to travel somewhere else for breakfast/brunch before beginning our day was also disappointing. 

Overnight convenience 

I have travelled all over the world and it is BY FAR the WORST place I have EVER stayed. Disgusting. Room has stained on the walls, burns all over the linens, roaches .. and non stop traffic in the halls and outside drug deals.. 
My vehicle broke down just outside of the city and this was the closest to the shop and free for pets. NEVER will I ever stay here again .. not worth the free pets.. I did not even feel safe to leave the room during the day. What a disaster. Second night I witnessed a knife fight … no cops… I am travelling with a child.. outrageous that I even paid to stay here …!!!!!!

F***ING TERRIBLE

Should have got back in the car but we were tired and it was late. Thank God I travel with Lysol otherwise could not have touched anything in the room. Dirty sheets, towels, floors, sink, everything! Had to sleep with the lights on to try to control the roaches. People loitering in the hallway and kids screaming. We felt incredibly unsafe and management couldn't be bothered. Run away from this one!

NASTY!

We stayed for all of 5 min before checking out to stay at a different hotel. Drove 10 hrs from SW Florida and needed a place to sleep for 5-6 hours before getting back on the road. The place seemed seedy rolling into the parking lot as there were people loitering around. We had to check in through a tiny plexiglass window and get buzzed in since it was night hours. Never had to do that at any other hotel/motel before. We take the elevator and were met with the smell of beer. I look down and there's a puddle of spilled beer and cigarette butts on the floor. In the hall was the thick stench of weed. Walked into the room and it seemed basic enough just to crash for a bit. As soon as I closed the door, a cockroach skittered across the door. In the bathroom there were more, and on the floor in the bedroom. Didn't even set my bags down, walked right back out and told the front desk guy we were checking out. He was nice enough to refund my money. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Absolutely disgusting establishment.

Roaches everywhere

Stayed here for a week with my construction crew. Every time we left or returned, there was anywhere from 2 - 12 people congregating outside the back entrance. More than half of the times there were 1 - 3 policemen there for reasons I do not know. The same gentleman was pacing the hall almost every time I walked in or out. At one point he flashed a baggie of what I think was crack cocaine, and asked if we wanted to buy some. 
The room was dingy and the bathroom was worse. The shower worked ok, but the drain and faucet were corroded and gross. The bolts that mount the toilet to the floor were broken or rotted away, felt like it might tip over while sitting on it. The sink drain was clogged and filled up instantly, took a long time to empty. 
I tried not to let all of these things bother me, as I just needed a place to sleep in between working. But then I noticed what appeared to be bug bites on my arms and neck. By the end of the stay they multiplied immensely. After looking it up, they are most likely bedbug bites.
I travel an awful lot for work and am not overly picky about where I sleep. But this was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel!
