We rented the cottage for the weekend of my daughter's wedding at the venue, Grandview, which was right next door .  It was perfect for us as we had all of the bridesmaids and the bride stay there.  There was plenty of room for the make-up and hair preparation as well as the photographer to document the event.  The beds were very comfortable and 4 separate bedroom gave us space when we needed, but still had space to gather.  The sunroom was perfect for the makeup room with all of the natural light.  The location right across the street from Grandview was all we could ask for.

Rental of the Cottage for the bridal party was excellent!

Found this star while looking for a nice hotel/resort near Chattanooga, TN.  Wanted luxury, quaint, coffee and some food nearby while searching. Stumbled upon The Chanticleer Inn pleasantly.
Several rooms to choose from,  clean and cozy. The steam shower was fabulous. 
Breakfast was delicious and quiet. Walked out door to Rock City. 
Perfect

Perfect Inn above Chattanooga

Lovely, quaint 1930’s Inn, clean and attractive.  Breakfast was delicious with varied breads/cereals/ yogurt plus a hot egg option.  Very nice.
200 characters minimum so lieu of brevity, I’ll say the the staff was friendly and helpful.  The location was perfect for our needs. We would go again!

Charming

Romantic rooms and great food. They are great for an anniversary getaway. The staff went out of their way to our weekend great. The Inn is perfectly located for easy access to most of the attractions on top of the mountain. The only complaint I can give is there needs to be handicap rails in shower tubs.

Anniversary weekend retreat

I really enjoyed my stay and the cucumber and aloe soaps are the best. The decor is country chic nothing  fancy but very nice and relaxing. We stayed in room 8,they offer breakfast and a snack during the evening. They are right across from rock city. I will stay here again. 

Nice and quaint

The best experience from the beginning. Friendliest staff, room was perfect and they have the best smelling soap ever.  The jacuzzi tub was awesome.  The first time ever I didn’t run out of hot water while filling the huge tub. The amenities from the snacks and hot chocolate,coffee and tea were perfect.  The breakfast was tasty.  The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. We loved the area it’s so close to Rock City, Ruby Falls and the Railway Incline. Lots better than staying downtown. I’m definitely telling all my friends about this B&B.

Simple

My wife and I stayed here in early October of 2022.  We were on our way to Highlands NC and just wanted to break up the trip so we opted to stay here for three nights. I must say the hospitality here is outstanding. It is obvious that the people who run this place are very experienced in what they do. Our suite was just so comfortable with beautiful furnishings and personal grooming items. The breakfast in the morning was excellent each time we dined. We also enjoyed meeting and talking to the other guest at breakfast or around the firepit in the evening.  I dont have much need to travel to Chatanooga but if I ever do go back that way I will definitely stay here.  By the way, there are many interesting things to do and see within a short drive from the Inn.  Rock City is literally just across the street and a cheesy as people have made that place out to be, I really enjoyed seeing it.  Lastly, downtown Chatanooga, which is only about a 7 minute drive, has come a LONG way! They have reall revamped the night life and dining down there.  All in all, we had a wonderful time.

Unexpected treasure

Just a delightful 48hr stay! The stonework is really pretty throughout the property, outdoor lighting well done, grounds well kept. The surroundings for breakfast and afternoon refreshments were very nice and comfortable. It's winter so the fire was particularly welcoming. The staff took great care of me - picked a room per my preferences, good food, varied options, and served well. I highly recommend.

A much needed sabbatical -

Immaculately clean! Very tastefully decorated. Great location. We walked across the street to see the Christmas lights at Rock City. After looking at the lights we had hot chocolate by the fire pit. We will be visiting again. Definitely recommend!
