As you can see from my pics this place a health hazard. In fact I have called the Chesapeake Health Department to file complaint.My family moved there in October while we apartment hunted. It was a 3 month stay in a mess. We were having hive breakouts, me and daughter, finally after literally scratching my skin off I went to Dr and was told its bedbugs. When we told owners, they moved us to another room and still we were bitten (probably they carried or was there). We told met again and can you believe they accused us of bringing the bugs? Insane! During the night you can smell weed while you trying to sleep. The neighbors upstairs often fought and stomped on floors.

Do not stay here. Our room had cereal left in upper cabinets from previous tenants, floors were not clean, head board had serveral handprints and the bathroom was horrid. We also had people banging on our door asking for the previous tenants so they could purchase marijuana until 3am. We brought our issues to the front desk and refused to give us a refund due to their policy. I wouldn’t risk saving a penny by staying at this hotel.

Disgusting.

You know you’re in trouble when the front desk has not one but two signs stating “No Refunds.”  My friend booked two rooms as a stopover on our way down to the Outer Banks. Unfortunately she used an online service and it was non-refundable.  The place was very sketchy, the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke (these were supposed to be nonsmoking rooms) and the place was crawling with bugs!  Needless to say we did not stays.

Wish there was a way to give this dump a zero rating!

We arrived at 9:30 pm after many hours of driving.  We had booked 2 rooms on Hotwire which had advertised this motel as "pet-friendly", "no0n-smoking" rooms.  Much to our disgust when we arrived there was a large "No pets", "no refunds" sign at the front desk and the clerk was positioned behind bullet proof glass.  That should  have given us our first clue. But no, we went ahead and got our keys, went to our rooms, open the doors and the air was full of cigarette smoke.  The parking lot was also pretty busy for a Friday night, and there was a slightly ominous vibe from some of the other lodgers.  We decided we didn't want to leave our luggage in the car, so we started unloading.  As we put our suitcases down on the floor, we noticed something crawling.  I caught it with a paper towel and realized it was a Cockroach!  When we went to put the rest of the luggage on the ground, we noticed there were more bugs crawling all over the floor.  Needless to say, we didn't stay.  I returned the keys, placed a complaint with Hotwire and as of this review, Hotwire did not refund my money!  I am so utterly disgusted and disappointed with this choice.  Not up to Hotwire standards and I will not do business with them anytime soon.

Horror In Chesapeake!  Stay Away!

Disgusting! You couldn't pay me to sleep there! Blood stained mattresses and box springs, hair on sheets and pillow cases.  We left! Thank GOD he gave us our money back! Go across the street to Best Western for another $40.  Get what you pay for!

Passing thru

This motel was recently renovated, so the rooms are fairly nice and large, and the location is ideal - close to main road and many restaurants.  They have wood floors rather than carpet, which can add to sound coming from adjacent rooms.  Sometimes this motel caters to homeless people and partying teens, but seems less so recently. There are two other reviews posted for this which must be misplaced. This is a basic budget motel; there is no pool or concierge as per the other reviews.
