Moved in here for week nothing noise and noise. Banging from 530am until 10pm. Went to front desk they either roll there eyes and do nothing. There so called security guard is as lazy and nasty and does nothing on the noise. If you going get rest from work or something forget it. The hotel has nothing but bugs and bugs and  staff does not care at all. What worst the red flag on there website on two cop cars. I say go somewhere else at better place not here.

Roaches Roaches Roaches
I've been staying here for the past week.
Almost everyday. I had to kill at least 6 to 7 roaches in my room. I complain to management. I sent a complaint To headquarters, but no response.there are Roaches in every part of this room from the kitchen bathroom even in the bed. I have videos and pictures as proof, no one can give me answers. The front desk is empty majority of the day and when some does come in its only for 2 to 3 hours. That has been everyday since I've been here 10/20/23. I was told on one occasion some will come by the room to I guess fix the problem, no one has come. I've even went to the extent to tape up any outlets cracks or crevice. Still there a Roaches. I normally don't write reviews but the lack of act by intown suites deserves this review.

Roaches 

Noisy and has a serious BUG issue. Saw roaches and other insects. Manager did spray but they kept coming back . Would like to talk to corporate about a partial refund .Not worth the money . Service is average to acceptable,but there are many better places in the area .

Bug problem . Very noisy .

Do not stay here if you plan on sleeping! The staff is as unprofessional as one could be. The noise from staff and other guests is unbelievable. The staff (management included) make as much if not more noise as some of the guests. They congregate in the entrance and gossip about other tenants in the building. While standing there waiting they were making awful racial comments about a white woman that had complained about the noise during the pandemic. There’s no plates, pots, coffee pot or utensils in the tiny kitchen, no housekeeping, no clean towels, toilet paper or nothing. The place reeks of marijuana and cigarettes, the place is loaded with drug dealers and the noise is welcomed by the rudest most unprofessional staff I’ve ever seen!! The so called maintenance man walks the hallway and whistles loudly day and night, the manager and he are a part of the gossip gathering and could be heard from the room. The bed sucked couldn’t get any sleep between the noise and the ragged mattress. I left two days into my stay and paid out of my pocket for a room about a mile away. Don’t stay here if you have any expectations of cleanliness or professionalism!!

Trap house

We arrived in town with my mom in tow from Pensacola, FL.  We live in Norfolk are in the process of buying a house for us all to live in.  Until then, we needed a safe place for my mom to stay.  She has mobility issues and needed an accessible room.  Long story short, we checked at both of the Extended Stay hotels near where my husband worked first.  They were booked solid and one location (which showed us their rooms) was filthy and all of the rooms opened to the street.  We then went to another InTown Suites location in Chesapeake, but they were also booked, but she directed us to this one.  My mom is in the car (after two days of driving 8 hours) and we walked in and talked to the check in clerk.  I explained our situation, she had the security guard show us an accessible room on the first floor (and all interior rooms) that was set up perfectly for her.  He then WENT above and beyond and insisted that if we booked this room, my mom would have his cell phone # to call if she needed help with ANYTHING after hours.  We took the room.  My mom fell and busted her lip and bruised her nose her first day there and when the staff found out about that, the head of housekeeping stepped up wanting to check on my mom daily.  My mom was using a cane, but brought in her walker which should prevent further incidents, but knowing that this staff has stepped up to take care of her the way they have makes me feel so good.  I highly recommend.

They look after their guest

I found this motel to be clean. Most of the guest live here and or very friendly. It is like an extended stay but without the pots, plates,cups , coffee pot,towels etc which I do not like. If I had known  I would have brought these items. I am not to fond of my bed it needs to be replaced. I do like the weekly rates therefore I am going this motel 3 stars!

Just ok

This place has all the comforts of your worst nightmare.  The headboards are chipped, the dining chairs are filthy. I refused to sit on them. The leg on the dining room table was broken.  I sat on the bed to eat my meals, do paperwork, talk on phone, etc. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and a large black spider made its way down from it. The pipes underneath the kitchen sink appear to have been leaking for quite some time because  a great deal of mold and mildew has accumulated as a result.  The floor foundation is uneven and there are cracks in the walls. The hallway carpet rarely gets vacuumed, the exterior side door was broken and a can was used to keep it ajar, even at night.  The staircases are seldom cleaned.  There are no office hours after 7:00 p.m.  There are no office hours on Sunday.  The only person on duty when office hours are unavailable is the custodian.  The staff is very unsupportive.  If you should encounter a problem with a neighbor playing the television or radio loudly or partying after a certain time of night.  Do not bother to tell them about it.  They won't do anything about it. Many of the guest that stay there are friends with the office staff.  Most of the guest that stay there are uncouthed.  Most are unmotivated, mentally disturbed, delinquents, or recently released from jail/prison.  Many guests that stay there are long term and do not make good neighbors.  The children are without adult supervision.  They play in the parking lots where cars are sometimes speeding around the building or play on the luggage carts.  The mattresses appear to not have been flipped in quite some time because my head was lower than my feet.  The window sills are dirty, grimy, molded, and mildewed.  The drapes are dusty. The sink is chipped and for some strange reason every time I used the shower it opened my sinuses and nose congestion would flow.  The tub faucet could easily be pulled out from the shower wall. The bathroom exhaust fan literally had dust hanging from it.  I would say about three inches long.  We asked for the vacuum cleaner ourselves as it was a nasty and horrifying sight.  The overall cleanliness of the place is deplorable. It also appeared the television never gets dusted. The same can be said for the hood over the range and the top of the refrigerator. I am sure the housekeeper saw all these things I have mentioned but failed to notify management or custodian of these issues.  The worst are the termites and the fruit flies.  I purchased my own insect spray while staying there.  It was suppose to be a non-smoking room but cigarettes burns were noticeable in the bathroom.

AND THEY DON'T DO WINDOWS EITHER

My fiance and I stayed at the InTown Suites in Chesapeake in November of 2014 while visiting his family for a week over Thanksgiving break. At first, we both thought we were getting a great deal for the price that was paid for the room, but became disappointed towards the end of our stay. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, as well as the cooking range and well-maintained appliances. When we checked in, we were told that housekeeping would come by once during the week on the day of our choosing, but were not told that there would be no one on staff daily to assist in the event that things were needed, such as toilet paper or quick maintenance. Our toilet became clogged, and after calling the front desk MULTIPLE times without answer, when we finally got in touch with someone, we were told there was a plunger in the office that we could borrow in order to take care of the issue ourselves - this is something that wouldn't normally bother either one of us, but when staying in a hotel, one would think issues such as this would be handled by housekeeping. When we ran out of toilet paper, we had to purchase our own from a local convenience store because they did not provide it. We also had to reuse our towels, because fresh ones would not be provided, even on the day that housekeeping did come by. We had gone out that day and came back to find that all of our used towels were still laying in the floor as we'd left them, and hadn't been replaced by fresh ones. Our bed linens also weren't changed. Aside from that, it was very frustrating trying to contact the front desk at any time, due to not receiving an answer a majority of the time. When we first arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful, but I can't imagine what would have happened if we would have had an emergency in the room that needed immediate attention. Overall, our stay was so-so, but I can guarantee we won't be staying there again.

Not Ideal, But Comfortable

In all honesty lets start with the elevator... the things falling apart and theres no button that says floor #1. The room looked nice at first glance but above the stove in the cabinet was a nasty old cookie and the dresser had what looked to be some kind of insect trap and the place doesnt have wifi.
