This motel is affordable was chosen by my family during our 3 day stay to attend a graduation at Chico State. Complimentary coffee, hot cocoa, and cereal in the morning. The wifi worked well and was reliable. The guy (I forgot his name) working the desk when I checked in on the afternoon of May 16, 2024 was great and helped me get two more towels since my room only had one and tried searching for an ironing board cover since the one in my room didn’t have one. Unfortunately, the linen on both beds in my room had stains. I asked for another clean bed sheets but it too had stains. I think it might be time to swap out and replace the old linens with brand new ones. Also, there’s a strong smell of cigarettes from previous guests that still lingers in the room, but at this price point, I can’t say that this motel was completely terrible, especially during graduation week where all the hotel prices in Chico are through the roof. You get what you pay for.

Affordable motel for tight budgets

The room was basic, but clean and even had a microwave and small refrigerator!  The bed was comfortable, with comfy fluffy pillows. The young man at the desk was very friendly and helpful.  They even had a breakfast bar in the morning.  All this and at a very affordable price.

So I booked this room online as we were traveling from Oregon. We checked in got our key,said we would be right back.we had to go get our dinner. We got dinner came back went to room.I immediately noticed carpet was split in an area,walls marked up damaged in areas and shower rod looked slightly busted, shower head was yellowish and hair dryer also busted slightly off wall. I Took Pictures of everything to cover myself and immediately let front office know. Also I reserved a non smoking room, got a smoking room,yellow tar on ceiling and lighting and burn yellow marks all over bathroom sink.i did let office know as well. I figured the man at front was very Nice and said thank you for telling him and I wouldn't be charged for nothing extra as I did report all damages in that room. Than everything was ok for a few. Went to bed, my phone rang I used bathroom "cockroaches fell out of towel at my feet..Wow.I was done. Took Pictures of the roaches and went to office. This new guy on shift just acted like it was no big deal.He offered me last room with two doubles If you got roaches in one room it doesn't change. I talked to husband and searched room more. Roach motel shoved behind fridge, another roach by fridge and beetle in closet.I took all pictures.I checked out and husband and I are sleeping in car, because I'm not paying some hotel for 8 hrs of a room.. I did ask the front office for a refund, he kind of smirked and said management hadn't ever given a full refund in five years and I might be lucky to get a partial discount, also he didn't think management would be in tomorrow morning.ok I will be calling..This is so unacceptable...I manage a 7-11 in Oregon and have managed an area inside of an Amazon warehouse. This to me is an awful hotel. I will be reaching out to whom I have to if I can't get this issue addressed with management.

This facility was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. My family and I arrived in town for my brother in laws wedding. When we initially checked in, we only had enough time to get dressed and head to the church, so we didn’t have time to look over our room. When we returned later that evening, we were disgusted at the uncleanliness and poorly maintained room that we paid $120 for. I found rust on multiple metal objects in the room. One of the towels on the rack had some sort of black substance on it. The mirror in the bathroom and room furniture had profanities written on them. The thing that bothered me most was that the door latch looked like it had been kicked in before and was not secure because it was not repaired properly. I brought this to the managers attention and asked for a refund. The manager refused and hung up the phone on me. I do not recommend this facility to anyone.

I have traveled to Third World countries and they are much nicer and cleaner than the experience I had in this hotel. The exterior was filthy, empty beer cans outside some of the rooms and cigarette butts. The interior smelled of mold and mildew. Windows did not open.  Never in my life have I seen such scum.

Horrible! Let me start by saying I stay out of town quite frequently. The first thing I noticed was that the deadbolt didn’t work. Not a dealbreaker but not cool. The interior had a ridiculous amount of terribly repaired drywall. Again, not a dealbreaker.
However, when I got in the shower the next morning I noticed dirt footprints in the tub! What’s worse is that they were MY footprints from the absolutely filthy carpet in the room! The 2 cockroaches in the bathroom told me THEY didn’t mind the dirt so there’s that.
Do yourself a favor and steer WAY clear of this place. Seriously.

Anywhere but here!

Had plastic cup in tub, hair on bath mat, toothbrush in bathroom, toilet flapper needed replacing, small roaches in bathroom. Had horrible day, and the man at the front desk allowed us to check in 1 1/2 hours early, he was also very nice. 

Room 105

The Guest Services Representative (GSR)/Josephine was very welcoming on arrival at the Inn. Throughout my stay, the GSR was very pleasant and helpful, and accommodated my needs with enthusiasm and poise. The GSR was kind enough to offer a discount on their nightly rates even though I stayed overnight.The GSR was very amazing and made me feel very much at home.

The beautiful hotel is conveniently located in downtown Chico, CA, USA. It is a great place to stay as the campus of California State University, Chico, CA , stores, restaurants and groceries are within walking distance. 

The fully equipped, self-contained and affordable accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable: Clean bathroom, clean bed sheets on a very comfortable bed and extremely clean shower and linens. 

 I would recommend this Inn to everyone who visits Chico, CA, USA.

I arrived after 3:00 AM due to delays and bad weather out of any ones control. I was welcomed and was given a room. The nice gentlemen behind the desk saved me more grief than he can imagine.  I will never be able to thank him, and the morning desk attendants enough.
   Breakfast and hot coffee in the lobby area was humble yet ready as advertised. I will stay here again when I return soon. The price of the room never crossed my mind. It was worth EVERY penny to me. 
   It was perfect.
