this hotel is gross ! gross ! do not stay here . It was like Joe's apartment (movie) with the roaches. We only were there for a couple hours and had to leave. The manager wouldn't give us a refund. the reviews are lies. YUCKY !!!

Gross ! Roaches ! Dirty!!

Hotel.Com rated this location as 8 out of 10. I beg to differ. The two things that it had going for it were a friendly staff and a comfortable bed.  Everything else was shameful.  The first room we chose had no working TV - bad connection to the cable.  We were given a second room and while the TV worked the rest of the room was painfully old.  Holes in the wall, noisy bathroom fan, a patched tub, roaches. The breakfast was poorly stocked with little selection 

Don’t believe other reviews

Bathroom was freshly painted and was very clean.  Did not see any bugs whatsoever.  Overall a good stop for a one-night stay. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.  Breakfast was minimal but Waffle House next door.

Okay Hotel

It may be a 2.5 start hotel, but it's a budget place.  The room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.  The shower head didn't work very well, the outside areas were not very clean, the lobby was closed by the time we arrived at 6:00 p.m., so we checked in at the night window.  It makes me think the clientele or the neighborhood is dangerous.  The breakfast was definitely continental - not much of substance.  One man talked (loudly) on the phone outside our room for about two hours. A woman was at the front desk in the morning in her pajamas.  Another guy was peering into the windows of rooms with the curtains open.  Overall creepy feeling.

Definitely a budget hotel

Motel is old but rooms are nice. Room was very clean and had been updated.  It was a great value compared to a few exits either way.  Safe location.  Debbie was great at breakfast and checkout.  I will stay again.

Not new, but nice

This place is horrible.  Lobby locked, no coffee or food, remote did not work, mold on top of bathtub, chip In tub, faucet in bath room leaked water, chair filthy dirty, advertised Grab and go breakfast, false advertising.  Even if you have to sleep under a tree do NOT go here.  Quality Inn should be ashamed of itself!  This place needs to be closed forever.

Worst hotel ever

The rooms were clean and smelled fresh, however I was very disappointed to find that the front lobby is still closed for “COVID-19 “.  I have been traveling for work the past 7 months and all the hotels are careful but back up and running servicing coffee and breakfast.  This is just an excuse to save money now with a statewide positivity rate of 3.1%.  Stop charging full price and scamming customers trying to save money.

As others have mentioned the lobby was not accessible at all. Apparently, some could go in prior to our visit for breakfast/coffee but we couldn't even do that. Not even for coffee:( The sign outside the Hotel advertised Hot Breakfast. Can you say False advertising. I believe the amenities description said Breakfast too so again false information. We were told they didn't have the staff. The mattress on the bed I think may have dated back to when the hotel was built. The room was acceptably clean  but the bath tub was dated enough it just didn't look clean. The outside in general was well maintained until you look closer. Every AC Unit had active spider webs. As for the AC on the inside it worked well. Maybe too well as it never shut off. The other two people in our party froze their butts off. I was a happy camper but could have been comfortable with a little less AC too. Most AC units you set to a temp. and it shuts off when that temp is reached. Not this one ran the whole time. This was a multi night stay and the following is the only reason they get two stars our room was cleaned each day with beds made up etc. The value for the price for a room with just queen beds, no breakfast...Not real close to any attractions...one star for sure.

Beds dated Breakfast zero

The hotel on the outside looks acceptable but when you go to check in and barred from the lobby, you begin to wonder.  You can go in the lobby in the morning for breakfast drink items but not for checking in purposes. We had a room on the first floor - noisy but I have seen worse. The room was clean that I can say . The door to our room badly needed a paint job as did many other doors The a/c was acceptable and the bed was tolerable for one night at best. However alarm clock provided was not working.  In the morning breakfast was given in a bag which contained some absolutely frozen items that were to be heated in the room’s microwave. Even when heated the minuscule breakfast was just not worth it. This place is rated very good on the Choice website but I would not agree. Quality Inn can do better in all respects and I would not recommend this place until there are some major changes in the facility.

Giving this Quality Inn a 2 is generosity on my part.   If in Chipley look elsewhere

The two of us booked a night at the Quality Inn in Chipley, Florida.
Guest check in is outside the lobby, in fact, we were promptly told that guests were not allowed in the lobby.
The room was dreary, musty, and noisy. The beds were okay.
The television had a few usable channels, but mostly shopping channels.
Breakfast was a joke: juice, old, rewarmed coffee, a questionable small egg/cheese biscuit (or two even smaller sausage biscuits) and a tiny sweet roll.
The price for this disgrace was $110.50.
