The hosts Terry and Carrie have thought of everything.  Our room, the vortex vista, was comfortable and clean.  It had an amazing view from our private balcony. Being able to walk out the door, past the spacious patio with lots of seating, firepits and umbrellas to the excellent hiking trails was so convenient.  The neighbourhood in Oak Creek was quiet and less hurried than downtown Sedona.  Parking is convenient.  Highly recommend this special spot.

Perfect in Every Way!

We stayed at the Cozy Cactus Compound while visiting the Oak Creek/Sedona area for 4 days. These genuine and wonderful folks operating and running the CC have 100% nailed it with this "kind of/sort of" resort. I was overwhelmed with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the lodgings. We stayed in the Sedona Sky and needed nothing extra as travelers from WV. When you fly and have an extended stay somewhere, you usually have to head out to a store to pick up odds and ends to use when trying to cook your own meals, do some laundry, get extra supplies for a hike or picnic, and general odds and ends. The CC more than likely will already have it in your lodgings, or you can find it in the beautiful, gourmet kitchen/common area that has a washer/dryer available for use. Need suncreeen, hiking poles, cooler bags, extra water, juice, soda, band-aids, tourist information, games to play, and more? Head to the common area. 

Inside your lodgings, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable, plenty of toiletries are provided, and a delicious breakfast is provided. The CC crew texts the day before your breakfast options and delivers it to your refrigerator that afternoon or evening. When we stayed, the breakfast items available were fritattas and a muffin of the day. Absolutely delicious.

 Here's the icing on the cake. The view and access to hiking trails from your back door will spoil you! Breath taking! Throw on your hiking shoes, take the maps including in your lodging, walk out the back door, and get adventurous. The CC is also private and in a quiet location. It truly feels like a resort.

Go ahead, book the Cozy Cactus, and become part of the "Cozies"! We WILL be back and stay again. This is the most well-appointed place we've ever stayed. Beats a hotel, hands down.

Cozy Cactus Bliss

We've been coming to Cozy Cactus for many years. The views are spectacular as is the hospitality and being able to walk out the back patio to hike each morning. We had apprehension about staying this time knowing that Mark had passed away. Terry graciously honored Mark and all he meant to Cozy Cactus while taking the reins to ensure we had a lovely stay. We'll definitely be back!

Cozy Indeed!

We visited in March with another couple from out of state making their first visit to Sedona.  So of course we chose our favorite Sedona accommodation, Cozy Cactus to make a good impression.   

The new Court House is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in and well suited with ample room and amenities for two couples and more.  

First of all the views from North rooms and kitchen are spectacular.   The bedrooms are great and have excellent attached bathrooms and closets.   

The kitchen is extremely well stocked so much so that we elected to eat in both nights and enjoy the time with our friends in the accommodations and on the patio.  The first night we grilled and the second night brought in pizza and made oven roasted vegetables.

At night we had cocktails around the bumper pool and had a great time catching up.  

One of our friends wasn’t in the best of shape so we took a mile out and back on the trail just outside the CC patio.  

In summary, Carrie and Terry have done an awesome job with the Court House and provided any amenity you can think off to make your stay so enjoyable.   

We also had a toast to Mark and all the memories.   Hopefully you are still there in that beautiful backyard!

Their new Court House family room is the best accommodation my wife and I have ever stayed in.

I would give more stars if I could - everything was exquisite, comfortable and clean. MUCH attention to detail, from attention given by hosts to tasteful decor!
I lucked out on availability and rate by visiting in January, but would be worth it to pay more during busier season. 
Perfect location: near town but out of the crowds, and the view from my deck and the patio was fabulous!

A Must Stay Place!

We stayed 3 nights for our first time in Sedona.  If we ever return it will be to only stay at the Cozy Cactus.  Our Desert room was perfect with a little private sitting area outside that we had lunch on a sunny day.  Breakfasts each day were delicious.  They have thought of every comfort imaginable and we loved using the ponchos for our chilly nights by the fire pit viewing the stars.  We hiked the Made in the Shade loop right from the backyard-no need to search for a parking lot spot.  Thank you to Mark, Heather & Elaine for a magnificent place.

Absolutely amazing!!!

We struck gold on our first trip to Sedona when we booked five nights at the Cozy Cactus Bed & Breakfast. Mark, Heather, and Elaine were outstanding hosts and we highly recommend this as a place to stay. The rooms have private entrances and the best word I can use to describe the two bedroom, two bathroom unit we were in is "cozy." The B&B is technically in the Village of Oak Creek (VOC) just a few miles south of Sedona, which was ideal to be a bit away from the March crowds visiting this part of the world. At the same time there was great access to attractions, restaurants, and trailheads for mountain biking or hiking, including one at the end of the block the Cozy Cactus B&B is on. And, who doesn't like having someone set out breakfast for them in the morning. Thanks guys for making our visit so delightful.

Truly the best place you can stay in Sedona. After having to cancel my trip up to the grand canyon due to snow, Heather and Mark were able to modify my accommodations so I could get there a night early AND upgraded me to this sweet vortex suite. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during a snowstorm - large, comfy bed, a couch, tv, kitchenette. Heather was a gem and offered to go out and get food for us since she had 4WD. Even with the snow, I was able to walk right out the back and on to some hiking trails. 

A+ breakfast, fantastic other guests, great location in Oak Creek. A truly memorable stay and can't wait to stay here again! Thanks so much!

The coziest time in the vortex suite

The Cozy Cactus is in a great quiet setting just minutes from downtown Sedona. The Vortex Vista suite was the perfect size for my mother and I to enjoy a mother daughter getaway. The views from the front and back balconies were breathtaking. The breakfasts provided were delicious. Mark and Elaine will go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Will definitely return to the CCBB when I plan my next Arizona trip! Hopefully there will be better weather (we were able to experience Snowdona) in order to enjoy the two provided fire pits out back! Overall, a great experience and an excellent place to come back to rest after a day of hiking. 

Vortex Views from the Vortex Vista suite 

The cozy cactus is a fabulous place to stay for a hiking week and exploration of this magnificent place in the Verde Valley. A very comfortable B and B which goes above and beyond to ensure an excellent, comfortable  experience. Can’t wait to go back!!
