This is a great hotel for an overnight. Staff were very friendly(both check in and check out), room was clean, room layout is great (having a couch is a plus ) , adjustable shower head with good pressure / hot water, comfortable bed. Was worried about very bright outdoor  lights but the darkening shade worked well. Breakfast was also good (eggs , sausage& bacon, biscuits, waffles, bagels, quality fruit, yogurt, etc). My. ONLY recs for breakfast would be to add gravy (for B&G) and to provide half/half not just the Coffee Mate (which is still better than powder). Close to plenty of restaurants and a Walmart nearby in case you forgot an item. We were very happy with our stay!!

Very happy with this hotel!

We stay at comfort inn and suites as often as possible.  I have back problems and traveling makes it even worse.  I used to dread hotel stays until 2016 when we discovered comfort inn!  My back actually feels better in the morning.. Soft beds, fluffy pillows, nice clean sheets, and clean rooms make me not want to go back home.

Most comfortable beds ever!!

This hotel was a Main Stays but they have turned it into a Comfort Suites now so most everthing is NEW. They were putting a new roof on and redoing the front when we were there. One of the best things about this place is the location. Everything in this area is close by, you pretty much can walk to any place if you wanted to. Not to mention that there is a Super Wal Mart practicaly in the same parking lot. You could walk there faster then you could drive. Great breakfast in the morning, and don't forget to bring your swimsuit because they have a indoor pool.

Santa's Sleigh Ride

I've never been in Clarksville before, so I tried the Comfort Suites.  Glad I did.  The staff treated me well.  The breakfast was pretty good.  The location was good.  It was on a busy road, but there was a light, so getting in and out wasn't difficult.  There was many restaurants and stores nearby, so I could get anything I needed.  The room was nice.  I would stay here again!

A good hotel

This is a convenient location for those traveling through. Great hotel - clean and comfortable - with professional, friendly staff and a great price. Lots of meal options close by, and even shopping within walking distance. There’s even a small historic cemetery next door.

Great Choice

Double queen room was very nice and large, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Nice to have sitting area instead of just the beds. Layout of bathroom was odd because it opened directly toward the beds instead of toward the door as is normal. Sink, toilet and shower are all together, so with friends sharing rooms, only one could get ready at a time. Heard the early riser in room above us, but otherwise room was quiet. Breakfast area was large enough for our large group to eat together and still have room for other guests. Very good exercise room and indoor pool.

The area to unload is not covered, so the day we arrived in the rain, we got pretty wet.  I had never seen a drive up area at a major hotel chain like this one, I will add a picture of it.

The front desk person was very pleasant, and checked us in quickly.  We were on the top floor, which normally is not a bad thing, but there is only 1 elevator, and it was at the opposite end of the floor where our room was, , so it was quite a jaunt to arrive and depart from our room.  Also, our first room had a defective toilet, it would not flush, so we were moved to a larger room next door, which normally is not a bad thing...however, this room had an odd shape, and the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling, and the shower faucet was away from the tub, so water poured out during your shower...plus, many light bulbs were out...you would think the custodial staff would have caught that.
We stayed two days, and were glad when those days were over, even though we did enjoy some areas of Clarksville.
There are other options, I would definitely check them out...

Pros and Cons, you be the judge

Decent hotel, clean enough & nice enough. Hot breakfast with good options.  But the carpet deodorizer (we assume) they use has an overwhelmingly strong smell all over the hotel.  We’ve stayed here in past years and were pleased, but will stay elsewhere next time because the odor was not pleasant.  Price was also high for a hotel more on the budget end, but that may be Clarkesville.  There are at least 10 other hotels at this exit to choose from.  Lots of restaurant options.

Deodorizer smell strong, otherwise fine

Not a great hotel.  Check in process was good.  It was booked full as part of our sports tournament so we were stuck with a king bed and pullout sofa bed (terrible) for 4 people.  The important part of the room was clean(bed,bathroom) but floor was questionable,  walls had gross stuff on them and ceiling showed signs of obvious water leaks.  Breakfast was ok.  However be cautious with parking, 2 vehicles in back of building were broken in to overnight.  The hotel did accommodate victims of Clarksville tornado by discounting rooms and offering other travelers to change/cancel additional nights without penalty.  I wouldn’t stay here again.  Not a great part of town.

Not the best hotel

Had picked up a coupon for this hotel, somewhere on our travels, that said "New"....hahahaha NOT. We hadn't had much pleasure with Comfort Suites, but thought with the coupon and "NEW" we would try. Arrived late 7pm, lobby was busy and the desk had a few checkins..SLOW process. The appearance is worn out, tired, and waiting for makeover. The low ceilings, and darker colors don't help. Felt like you walked into a 1970's cave. Room was not the worst I've seen, but that is of little consequence.. Parking lot seemed to be a stop for truckers to run their engines and sleep. Some eating areas close by.  Spend more, stay elsewhere
