Great place! Close to restaurants, updated rooms, nice continental breakfast. Try the pancakes! Staff was very friendly too and sincerely happy that we were there. Would definitely stay again next time! Plus I earned points through choice hotels app

Great place!

No frills hotel yet it has all you need. Clean, and well located. A good choice if you are on a budget and are spending a night in town before hiking or continuing your trip to the north of Georgia or other states

No frills, well located budget hotel in Clayton

The bed is extremely comfortable. The room was clean, bathroom clean. Only complaint is breakfast. I really didn't expect much but they didn't even have a piece of bread out however they did have coffee which was a blessing in itself. Very convient to local restaurants and area attractions.

I booked a 2 night stay. I had to change my reservation to a 1 night stay 10 days prior to check in.  I had a confirmation number and confirmed with an employee on property the change had been made. When we arrived, we were told we were ‘no shows’ , our room canceled and our card charged. No attempt to get us a room, no refund, no apology. I’ve spent a week trying to get a refund. The manager, Sonny, will not speak to me. Choice Hotels corporate tells me they see no charge; my bank statement says otherwise. Do NOT recommend this property. They have taken $174.50 from my account and no one from the owner to corporate can help me. I think I’ll take an add out in the local newspaper.  Shady business practices!

Do not recommend staying here at all !!! To first top it off i booked it through booking and did the pay ahead. Then after checking out they proceeded to tell me that booking did not show the 1% price increase and i owed more money. But it gets worse. The next morning I realized I left my diamond necklace on the bathroom counter. Immediately called up there told them where it was on the counter and they stated they never saw it. I know they took it and a criminal investigation is pending on this !!!!! So DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!

Check in was abrupt.  Clean, comfortable, but was never able to connect to internet--Had a password but the access wouldn't come up--even when front office came to help, it never worked. I had to get help for TV remote, which are apparently switched out for cleaning with each guest and it needed reconnected... again front desk was on the spot t help. (Different person from check-in)  I was next to vending area, but ice machine was not functioning and I had to walk to another building to get ice.   I usually stay at another location when in Clayton but thought this looked like a better option from the outside.  I was wrong.

Roach infestation - health hazard- do not stay! Manager is aware and was extremely aggressive, rude and unprofessional when we started our concern. I was also charged twice for the room. Never again!!!!

I booked this hotel for my wife who  was there on business. Upon check-in the lady at the front made sure to be clear my wife was to have no men coming in and out so much so my wife had to tell her she was there working and not a working girl and that she was just down right rude and disrespectful. We will not be back for any reason and do not recommend any establishment that acts like this toward its guest.

Accusations at check-in

Our family got two rooms while staying in the Clayton area for a horse show. Our room, ground floor back side was ok, but the door would not close unless slammed. The light in the bathroom had to be plugged in at an outlet out of my wife’s reach. The carpet was not the best kept to say the least. The bed was very comfortable, but overall, I’ll look elsewhere next time.

Nothing to really brag about.

Not only were we given the wrong room from what we reserved, we were still charged the pricing for the suite. I reserved a suite and we were given a standard double queen. When I spoke with the person at the front desk, they could care less of this situation. He did not offer to honor the pricing shown online nor did he offer to help in ANY WAY! The beds are extremely hard and the water in the shower did not stay warm or hot, it would go hot and cold, hot and cold. There were people partying all night and nothing was done for this either. The drawer handles fell off when opening the drawers as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. They falsely advertise the pricing online when booking.
