My Husband and I were looking to move in to lake county and needed to temporary weekend place to stay while we house hunt, the staff is AWESOME and allow pets. We called and they were always cheerful and remember us and EVERYtime we get our same room. Clean OMG yes. Chinese food next door is the Best, the rates are worth the stay. I always recommend that you stay here.

Weekenders

Stopped for the night on a motorcycle trip.  The desk staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very spacious and clean, good beds, great for the price point.  There is a Chinese cuisine restaurant and lounge next door with good food and drinks.  I will come back.  

Great economy motel

Stayed here while visiting with my sister in the Clearlake area.  The room was spacious    , the air conditioning worked and the bed was very comfortable.   The only issue I had was that the place needs to update their website so someone can make a reservation online.  Other than that our stay here was very positive.

Very Comfortable bed

We stayed at this hotel while visiting a family member. Our hotel room was very clean and roomy. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There is a large counter space around the sink. The room has a coffee pot, small fridge, and microwave. This hotel does not really have a continental breakfast,but In the lobby they have coffee and some packaged danish. The area probably does not get enough people for them to offer breakfast. The employees were very friendly. We would stay here again if in the area. Our room was a non-smoking room. I don't know if the entire hotel is non-smoking or not.

Visiting Family

I was in the area for business. The room I had was better than I expected. The decor was a bit dated, but the room was clean and comfortable. I had no problems during my stay. I would stay there again if necessary.

Clean

Don't expect to see the lake from this hotel but you will find a clean room of reasonable size, with a decent bed (maybe on the soft side). The price was reasonable and the decor was fine. You can walk up the street to a cafe with a good breakfast.

Quite reasonable

Start from the beginning  , the place is clean , stopped in my semi truck , go to check in , counter person ( family run business ) tells me that his credit card machine is broken and it’s cash only ! I walk down the street in 95 degree weather to a gas station to get cash , no luck machine is empty ! Go back to see what we can work out , low and behold the machine magically decides to work , , no big deal ! I get a decent nights sleep , off to work I go , I find myself in the same situation the next day , stop in get a room , this time credit card machine works just fine , I go to room , turn on AC ,( it’s 90 + outside and room is hot upon entry ) , take a shower , walk next door to a Chinese joint with decent food and full bar , spend couple hours , go back to room , find that the AC unit has had the hand dial turned to fan mode , ( manually ) , just glad I didn’t have anything embarrassing in the room when they decided to enter my room without permission , and for that I will never go back !  I confronted the counter person , he played stupid of course , I mentioned the previous nights BS and I got the dumb stare !  It’s bad business to violate privacy rights ,

Cross the line

The owl was spotted at lunch time near Cache Creek along the Rosebud Trail.  That's the good news.  As for the motel, my request for a king bed, upstairs floor and a quiet room was ignored.  I was placed in room 101.  This room had the ice machine, washing machine and supply closet on one side.  Outside my room was the murky green swimming pool.  I thought that I would be spared pool noises.  But I wasn't because the pool maintenance guy was working on the pool, trying to get it back for public use.  The renovations that were done at the lodge have not been completed.  Workmen are still there.  For example, room signs had blue painter's tape.  My room still needed painting.  I was okay that there were two beds in the room, but I was not okay with the amount of noise.  My upstairs and next door neighbors were a tree crew consisting of at least six guys and four trucks from Loggers Unlimited.  The guys got up at 5 AM and were out on the road at 6:30 AM.  When they returned, they congregated outside the pool, only a couple doors from my room, and spent the time together until 8 AM, laughing, talking and smoking.  That was understandable because they couldn't gather in the indoor lobby.  But I did not have a quiet room.  During the afternoon, the housekeeping cart rolled back and forth passed my room.  I booked my room two weeks before my stay.  I have given the motel a chance to explain and they have not.  Also, the microwave oven keypad was defective, the turntable did not rotate, and the toilet leaked water.  At check in, I asked again for a quiet room.  I was told that no one was in the room above mine.  But above room 101 is room 202.  Room 201 might have been empty, but not room 202.
