This place has roaches blamed me the power went out for 8 hours in they did t pay me for it or accommodate me n my family it was 12 degrees no heat mind u I've never had a bug in my life nor would I have photos of the Roches crawlimg up the wall in bed bugs the power went out I called aep they didn't even have aep they was columbus in it was a weekend day in they was closed they didn't pay there electric bill they charged me over 90 tax what ever they wanted to charge I'm a math tax  Genius and I looked up the protocol prices for that area and they did not add up no matter which way I tried it they did not add up we were charged 3 times the tax the lodging taxes  was correct but nothing else I asked to use the laundry 10 min after I paid for room the guy did.t want to let me .then he didn't want to give me quarters after I gave him 13$ in quarters in part of my pay....I couldn't get clean towels or room swept one time I was there for a month  the appliances was broke in the walls in Iron in thermostat was Covered in yellow soot I wouldn't even touch iron I had to clean the heater it was Covered in black soot in fuzz just to use it I cleaned it2 xs to get all the dirt out my towels came to me yellow Grey in black n brown stained as if they was used as but wipe...not kidding..they wouldn't make anything right ..I asked for money back 4 min after paying they said we don't do refunds so I was forced to stay there until time was up...smh there was a gap so big under my door u could see the highway in slide a full.collage tablet under..don't go here..I found serenges in serenege caps in my room but they said they clean all they did was take trash in give me dirty towels the towels.I got looked like someone wiped the poo out of there but no joke

Worst place I've ever stayed

I was in town for 5 days and wanted a cheap place to stay close to the downtown area that would be an easy drive, day and night to get to some concerts I was going to attend.  This establishment met the need. It's old and nothing fancy, but clean and the managers live on site or appear to and are nice folks.  I would recommend you not stay in the end rooms because they are noisy.  Metal stairs are located on each end of the building to access the second floor, and you hear every foot fall on those stairs day and night!  So unless you are a sound sleeper stay away from the end rooms.  There are plenty of eating places nearby: Waffle House, Ponderosa, Skyline, White Castle, Taco Bell, McD;s, Bob Evans you name it.  And. it is right off the loop around Columbus.... .

Clean and functional

I unfortunately stayed here for one night & left with bed bugs!!! What a nightmare. The owner has replied stating that we did not stay there but instead wanted a refund and write a bad review when we did not get it. TRUST ME, WE DID WANT A REFUND AFTER OUR NIGHTMARE!!! Which he refused! Stay anywhere But Here!!!! The bed bugs followed us for weeks, was costly in Doctor apots and we could not get rid of them during a cross-country trip what a nightmare!

Bed Bug Infested

Me and my fiance' have stayed here on numerous occassions and have always enjoyed our time here. The rooms are clean with modern furniture, big flat screen televisions, and new carpet. Plenty of clean towels and alot of the units are set up for extended stay. Having kitchen sinks, counter tops and microwaves. The staff has always been accomadating and friendly. There are many restaurants and stores close by as well.

my husband and I just stayed at this hotel last night started off with the room above us playing very loud music and after taking a shower I thought that I cut my foot and was bleeding there was red spots all over the floor after realizing that it wasn't coming from me we were not sure what it was so we laid a towel down to stand on why we got ready when we checked out we asked the gentleman at the front desk what it was he said it was hair dye my husband and I did not agree and will never stay there again

terrible experience will not stay again

3d or fourth trip to the Kozy. ( I have reason to be in Columbus every so often ) This time just like in times past I found it to be Clean! The room was spacious enough with a King , sofa , small fridge and microwave. Not sure why all the negative reviews. not saying they aren't true? Just sayin' that I have not had a bad experience to this point. The Kozy is located a short drive to the Center of Columbus straight up 23N . For about 60 bucks per night I'm sure I will return to the Kozy, most likely again in September.

Great Again!

Immediately after enter our room we found ROACHES all over. The office refused to refund our money but offered us another room. They were so rude and inconsiderate. Told us the roaches were from the previous person who rented the room. So they admitted that they knew there were bugs in the room. Needless to say, we left and we will never go back 

Horrible!

I rented the king bed with a hot tube for one night. As you first walk in it smells like poop was smeared all over the wall. And they have a zero refund policy (GO FIGURE) .. we asked for a new room and the lady at the front desk explain it's because of the hot tube and water on the floor and it's the mold smell.asked her "so there's mold on the floor" she said "nooo".. you could see the mold all in the corners of the room. The bathroom tub was gross. The curtains had a huge dead fly smashed in and a nasty brown stain on it. The bed was HARD. I was scared to even sleep on the bed under the blanket. I was coughing all night did not get one hour of sleep. I woke up at 6 am and got back on the road Terrible! A 100 dollar for what?
