We used this hotel for all our company travel I've had my truck broken into in Nashville but at Conroe location the staff stole two kimber pistols never again management it total denial said its must be a misunderstanding.....explain what that means. Horrible place to stay if you value your belongings.

Theft of property

Do not stay here . Staff is not friendly or helpful. Front staff said housekeeping comes once every 2 weeks when we requested towels. Smells like smoke. Rooms were dirty and mattress was lumpy and not comfortable at all. Hair on shower wall and curtain. Roach in a room and door would not close in another. Find a different place to stay. Several members of our group changed hotels due to the bad conditions. 

Do not stay ! 

This place is disgusting lacks basic cleaning practices and in terrible conditions.  Smoke carries throughout the building, suspicious activity occurring throughout and suspicious occupants. 

The place is outdated and in poor condition, base boards are falling apart, mold on the ceiling, thick film of dust on TV. The place has some carpet that is sticky and stained. 

Don’t do it!!! 

I arrived at this hotel after midnight on December 1st. My stay here was to get some rest and hunker down to study for final exams. December 2nd was my intended check out date. I arrived to the guest lobby and dialed 500 to summon an attendant to check me in. She was curteous and professional. During the check in process other patrons arrived to check in. We were discussing check out date and number of nights and I told her that I was planning to check out on December 2nd. It was a few minutes before midnight and she said to let her check out the other patrons and technically if I checked in after midnight it would be one night and not two. I also stated I do not mind paying for two nights if that was required. She said no " I can do that". I stepped aside and let her check out two other patrons and assist another guest to get her key cards working again. She then checked me in and took my payment of $77 and some change. When presneted the reciept I noted to her that the check out date listed was 12/1. She said " I will correct that" . I was exhasuted and asked her to follow up by phoning my room to let me know if there was something further for me to do. There was another guest behind me and I also didn't wnat ot hold up the line in the wee hours of the morning. In the room there is a funky odor like cheap carpet powder and stale ashtrays (I have a non-smoking room due to allergies). The sheets are thin, cheap and stained so I sleep with my clothes on. I wake a few hours later to go to a race and find there is no coffee pot. There is also no ice on premises until you freeze them in your ice trays. The vending machine is out of water and the snack machine has 3 pay options ( card, cash, coin) and only coin is working. I do not have coins and the front desk is closed before until 9 am (or so that is posted). I go to my race and arrive back at the hotel around 8:40, attempt to take a shower and discover after I am completely undressed that I do not have any soap or shampoo in the room. I get dressed and head downstairs to ask for toiletries. The lady at the front desk gives me shampoo and soap and I ask about my check out date to see if the matter was handled last night. She looks and notices that my check out is not 12/2 like I expected. I told her that the conversatoin that transpired during the check in process this morning and she stated that anything that happens before the office opens at 9am is considered the previous day. I told her politely that I don't disagree with the policy but that the attendant told me otherwise and I was expected to check out on 12/2 with a one night charge. She said her assistant manager would be in at 12 and I could return to the front desk when he arrived to get my question answered.I proceed to my room, shower, order from Uber eats and start the marathon of study. At around !:30 the manager knocks on my door and explains that I have to leave. I told him about the conversation and he responded the same that the policy is.........you know the story. I asked him if her plans to honor the words of his employee since that is not what I was told. He offered bot apology or furhter investigation. I explained my dissatisfaction with the room itself and based on principle that his employee informed me of one thing and he would not honor it I would not pay for an additional night. I left immediately. 
Customers understand sometimes they will encounter a room that is less than what they expected upon check in. They can chose to stay and return, stay and never return, or not stay at all. For me, I consider it a lesson learned most of the time and move on. A hotel has an opportunity to improve an experience simply by honoring the words ( regardless of accuracy) of their employees. I could have left there without the need to expose the dirty room, lack of normal hotel supplies, and broken down vending machine but at $77+ a night I can get better quality, toiletries and coffee included, and honor of word. I will pay more for the integrity of a company regardless of the stock within the room. This hotel is basic at best and that assistant manager could better service his customers by learning some professional behaviors from his pleasant and curteous staff who are trying to give the best experience. Unfortunately they are not given the tools to do the job that they want to do and they are poorly informed of policy.

Poor integrity, inconvenient business practices, dirty smelly room.

My company put me up in this place, but it was so bad that after a couple of days we had to leave and find somewhere else. Here is the scoop:

- In the middle of winter the heater wasn't working when I checked in. I called the office but it took them two days to fix it because their maintenance doesn't work on the weekends. Unacceptable. I was shivering the whole time.

- The Internet is so slow as to be practically unusable. I had to tether my phone.

- The exterior walls are paper thin and since the building is only a few feet from the expressway the traffic was defining inside my room. 

- The interior walls was paper thin too and as such anyone talking inside the hallway was audible. 

- When I arrived and uncovered my sheets I found a hair in my bed that wasn't mine.

- There was hardly any water pressure in the shower so it took forever to get soap off

- The mattress/boxsprings was so worn that when I crawled in to bed I sank almost half a food. It was impossible to sleep.

- The entire hotel, hallways, and the rooms, have a very gross odor

- There is no lobby

- There is no hair dryer

- And despite having a kitchen there were no paper towels, utensils, plates, etc

Awful place, stay away

I was in a moving transition and money was tight day to day. John and the staff were the absolute greatest in every way. John was especially helpful and it's nice to know that customer service is a top priority at this hotel. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and anyone else looking for a hassle free, clean, comfortable, and above all quality customer service hotel. Thank you again to John and all the staff!!

Best customer service of any hotel I've stayed at. 

Amazing customer service and rooms. Everyone is very friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Conroe to stay at this hotel. I have absolutely zero complaints.

Best hotel in Conroe!!

Whilst waiting on some bureaucratic processing after selling my house in Willis before I could continue my global travel plans, I needed a place to stay for awhile. I checked out all of the local hotels, inns & suites in the area & most, (Red Roof, Comfort Inn, etc), offered a regular single room with no amenities. I wanted a reasonably priced 'safe & clean' suite with a kitchen, WiFi, Good TV channels & most importantly friendly management/staff that demonstrated total respect for their guests. I found it here! John K, Robin, Jake & all of the crew here are welcoming, responsive & safety conscious. In a business capacity I've stayed in "corporate expensed" big name hotels & suites all over the world, (Hilton, Marriott, Residence Inns, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites, Manhattan Suites in Cape Town, etc, etc), However...If you are looking for a competitively priced, secure, comfortable & quiet! (I hear absolutely no noise from adjoining rooms), place to stay whether you are a contracting crew, visiting tourist or local looking for a place to stay close to Conroe, stores & the lake...I highly recommend Woodspring suites.

JEWEL IN THE CONROE CROWN!

We checked into this hotel needing to stay seven nights! When we got checked in and up to our room it was HORRIBLE! The sheets had brown spots. The room smelt like smoke( when I told the front desk they told me to turn the a/c on 65 because they always smell like that) of course that made me furious. I decided I would stay and just spray something and hope for the best, UNTIL I started heading towards the bathroom and it had no door handle!!!! I immediately went to the front desk and asked if the bathroom should have a door handle she laughed and said yes. Then followed with I'm sorry that room should not have been issued out! I asked what were we suppose to do she told us to stay in the room for the night and would switch us tomorrow! I'm sorry but we just payed over $400 for our stay and that's ridiculous! So I asked for refund they stated they could not do that until the next day and I needed to speak with john the general manager ( who wasn't much help either) I called the next morning two hours after the time I was told he would call me! When I told him everything he then just said "yeah sorry that was my fault" he even thought we were still there! Very very unprofessional management! As he was about to refund the our payment he explained his computers shut down and would have to call me back! By then I was furious!!! This was the worst stay at a hotel I have ever experienced! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone!!! He then called me back 4 hours later and only said I refunded the money and emailed you confirmation to the email on file. Not a sorry or I hope you give a try in the future nothing!
