The rooms are very small, and the bath is the same.   The shower is about the size of a RV shower.  It took at least 5 minutes to get hot water to our room.  Ask the guy at the desk about it and he said that was normal considering our room was near the end.   So we decided in order to be able to take a shower in the morning we would need to be one of the first up in order to get a hot shower.  So we were up and going at 6:30 on a Sunday morning.  Not really what we were planning.   
We had 3 twin size pillows for our king size bed, that have no support. Flat as you can get a “pillow”.  
The motel does appear to have been remodeled fairly recently.   Just be aware that if you want hot water, plan ahead, you might want to bring your own pillow, and plan on only one person at a time in the bathroom.

We traveled here for a family wedding, not really knowing the location, this place is a GEM! The location was amazing! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would def stay here again! Next time we come I plan to stay longer to enjoy the scenery and the location.

Location=perfection

Lake View Motel is clean and comfortable in a picturesque setting. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rates were very reasonable. Our standard room contained a coffee pot, microwave, and compact refrigerator. If we visit the area again, we will definitely stay here.

We just love this place! Our cottage was perfect! The staff here are so professional and friendly, the cottage was super clean, and very well equipped. The access to the lake was so wonderful and we spent our time swimming in the beautiful lake, and there were plenty of areas to lounge and relax. We had a beautiful view of Lake Otsego from our cottage. The prices are more than reasonable. Towels were clean and fluffy. We look forward to coming back again!

Excellent stay 

This is truly an enjoyable place to stay. Great rooms and a magnificent view. The staff was always available and very courteous, and the housekeeping was great! We will definitely be coming back next year!

Given the age and price, this is an excellent choice in the Cooperstown area.  The setting is beautiful.  The person manning the office when we arrived was as helpful and friendly as can be.  The room was definitely old and could use some serious upgrading (carpet had a strange odor near the corner when I plugged into the outlet.  But it was clean and served the purpose for a night's stay.

Decent choice in Cooperstown Area

I waited 45 minutes for James ( Who was clearly inebriated and bounced off the walls ) to find my reservation. Understandably, I became agitated and he called the state troopers! I was in bed and asleep when they knocked on the door. At 12:30 AM I was standing in the doorway in my pajamas giving my license number to the troopers. They agreed that James, who they had spoken to first, was wasted. What a rude welcome to Cooperstown.

We stayed one night at the Lake View for a short visit to Cooperstown. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a microwave and a small refrigerator, and everything was in working order (though we would have preferred a more secure lock on the door).  It was fun to have a view of the lake, although we didn't have enough time to really take advantage of the location. We were in the two-story annex up the hill from the main building, and it was quiet at night. I thought the price we paid was very reasonable.

Clean room, nice view of the lake, good value

We stayed for 4 nights, and we had a great time. The rooms were very clean, and staff was very nice and helpful. My family enjoyed the paddle boats, and the beautiful scenery. It is also close to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. We will definitely be coming back. Thank You.

Great Time

We stayed at Lake View Motel for two nights. The motel was very clean and the staff was so helpful and nice. Great views! Access to beach, fishing poles, paddle boats. Our family had a great time visiting Cooperstown.
