The condo is clean and nicly furnished with easy acecss to parking and the beach.  We have stayed many times never disappointed. My husband and I like the being to feel at home. Surfside you are in a friendly environment.  Worth staying.

After my husband and I stayed FOUR months, the manager slapped a $200 fee onto my online credit card, siting excessive, dirty conditions and 'bugs climbing the walls" in our 2nd bedroom.  At our move out I expected there would be a deep cleaning, so I did NOT sweep after removing the tubs in the 2nd bedroom (none of which had food). There were NO live bugs in our unit.  (although on at least one occasion, the exterminator came 2 wks straight, indicating problems in another unit!)  Interesting that the manager had another renter coming in 2 hours later! Obviously wasn't planning a deep clean!  The ARBITRARY fee was used to house those next renters overnight, although I never saw their bill.  Watch out when you give these people your credit card!  Sorry!  we evacuees did NOT have the $$ to pay for poor management.

We had such a great time at Padre Island, and our stay at Surfside Condominiums was very pleasant and relaxing. Room 121 was clean and decor, furniture, and entire accommodations were on point. Beach access is right across the street which is so convenient...a few of our group walked and a couple of us drove our vehicle into the parking lot, so we could unload our things from the vehicle. There are several barbeque pits around the pool area where we cooked our dinner both evenings while the kiddos played in the pool. The outdoor area is beautifully kept, and everyone we met was friendly and very nice! We did notice one unit up for sale and have considered investing in it, but as for now, we will definitely be back soon!!!

Awesome Beach Get Away

Was in room 206 at Surfside,  the beds were terrible, the furniture was worn out and stains on the carpeting.  Also not enough chairs the table for 6 person condo. The property is very nice, great pool area with warm pool and BBQ grills.  If they would just update their rooms everything would be good. We had enough towels and they were eager to do whatever we asked for.  The other family we were with had a ground floor condo that was in better condition, but still dated furniture.  If you are not going to be in the condo much then it would be fine.  Wi fi were very spotty and hard to use.

Tired and Old, good things close to beah

I was in shock when I read the review of Unit 208. I had to go back to verify that it was the same place we visited recently. The condo was clean, spacious and we had no complaints whatsoever. After our visit to that condo we started looking into buying a condo there because we enjoyed it so much. We may not be able to buy condo there soon but we will be back and would not hesitate to ask for 208.
