The hotel was overrun by cockroaches, and the toll-free customer service provided false pricing information, resulting in a nearly $300 per night charge for a hotel that should have cost only $40 per night. It's astonishing that such a filthy establishment is allowed to operate by the health department. With a price tag of $300 a night, one would expect them to invest in pest control and proper cleaning services.

I would NOT recommend anyone to stay at a so call Ocean INN( Motel 6). I had my 74yr old mom with us and the  Experience was  The worst. Really, roches  in the room and even in the front office.  Once, we got to the room we checked around the room and that's when we saw the shower it was NASTY.  The toilet was broken and my husband  went to the front office to let them know. What they gave my husband was paper clips so he can attach it to the toilet seat also they gave him oven cleaner so we can clean the shower with, they also gave him a Spray, and a Broom so we can clean the restroom.  We went to the front office again and I asked to speak to the manager and I asked for the name of the manager ( Isabel) I even left my Cell# for her to call me and NOTHING,  she never Called me . Yeah,  they sure charged my credit card for the payment.    The worst experience ever.... 😪 🤬😡🤬😡🤬😡 
I would rate ( Motel 6 )Ocean INN a negative -1 billion ..

Never Pick this Hotel again

The price was satisfactory, but the room wasn't. We rented 2 rooms. Our son and his family's room had roaches. The shower in mine and my husbands room was like a sprinkle and NO water pressure at all. Our grandson shared our room with us and they gave us 1 roll of toilet paper a day for 3 people. They also gave us towels for 2 people instead of 3. We had to go to the office every day for toilet paper and towels. These rooms are so small, it's depressing. No refrigerator or microwave.The one good thing was that the employees were very friendly.

Will probably never stay here again.

We wanted to save a little money, since the 4th of July rate increased from $95.00 per night to over $200.00! Well, let me tell you the room was below standard. No frig, hair dryer or enough towels, but plenty of roaches & one spider! Killed 2 in the bathroom & 10 by the outside bed by the window. I was in room 108 lower leval. I called the front desk twice to report the issue. She was concerned and apologetic for my horrible experience. And, made note to let the manager know what had happened & to see what discount could be given. Truthfully, I would have 
Checked out, but it was after midnight. Didn't sleep well at all. So, I will not be returning and will speak to the manager in the morning. I have stayed at other Motel 6 and have always been pleased! I will not recomend this motel location to friends or foe! Save your money and stay somewhere else with no bugs!!! 😞

"Bugs, Bugs & More Bugs!".

Yep it’s a little tired in all ways, but the price was good. The staff was nice. Convenient to some restaurants and to most shops. And grand remodel should be in its future.
Not sure I’ll be back though.

Ya get what you pay for

This horrible motel needs to be removed from the beautiful island. Only bulldozer can help to solve their problem. Worse than a room in this motel can only be a prison sell. (I paid $130 for the night, it was last minute reservation, all other places was overbooked).



Unacceptable.

The employees were very helpful and friendly. The off season price was fair. Room was clean and basic. If you don’t have a lot of money and are just looking for a place to sleep and get out of sun this is the place.

Nice for price

I am a frequent traveler to the Island, so be aware of the variations in the rates you find in the hotels of this destination.If you go to this hotel in high season (holy week, summer vacation) or on a weekend it's a terrible value for money, finding super-inflated prices, up to $60 USD. However, if you go to the island in low season, this hotel becomes extremely attractive, as for a few fashionable $30 USD you'll find quite decent accommodation! Only 2 streets from the beach! Even the low season and weekend fare is much lower than the hotels in the same chain in McAllen or Brownsville. A real deal. No expectations of amenities, no discounts, it's a pretty fancy hotel, although the hotel is always characterized by some basic luxuries and facilities, especially the 6th Street Motel, which I have no doubt to follow.

A budget hotel just a few blocks from the beach!

We stayed for practically a few hours, we arrived to check in around 2 a.m., the person at the reception was very kind, it didn't even look like it was past noon, excellent care from his side, however the room didn't quite fit me, the drain is small and a jet of water could pass over the curtain and mojo the whole bathroom, plus we had lunch with a few pickups that we hope were just mosquitoes, a basic hotel, that is, at the weekend the fare, as in all hotels on the island, goes up too much.
