Everything was very nice, but the bed & pillows are uncomfortable. The comforter was too thin for my taste and the extra blanket was also very thin. Everything was clean and in working order. The bar had live entertainment.

This resort is immaculate! We went for the Balloon Fiesta and had an amazing stay! Thank you Jennifer Finney for your help planning our business meetings and meals there! We hope ot return as soon as we can.

Immaculate

We just had the most incredible wedding experience at the Sandia Resort and Casino this past weekend. Stephanie our Event Specialist and her entire team were exceptional! She was very professional throughout the entire process and made sure everything was in place the day of the event. The Venue was perfect for our ceremony and the food and service for the celebration was outstanding! In fact, many comments were made by our guests about how good the food and service were. Thank you, Stephanie, for creating such a wonderful experience on our special day! A Five Star experience for sure!

The only exception to our overall experience was with the Sandia Sports Bar. Many of our guests frequented the venue but found that the staff was not very accommodating and quite frankly not friendly or interested in providing service. Also, the Sports Bar menu is very limited. Kind of disappointing considering this venue appears to have great potential. 

Highly recommended setting for a Special Occasion!

I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff! We had a 2 day conference here and everyone was absolutely incredible. Jennifer Finney was so incredibly flexible!! She took care of all my last-minute changes with such grace and understanding! 
The rooms are huge! Loved the beds and the bathrooms! 
We had a great time!
We absolutely recommend. 

A Team that Truly Understands Hospitality!

Not inviting. Looks great from the outside, however the inside is ugly. I would like to share some additional details about my recent visit to a restaurant or eating establishment. I regret to say that my experience was quite disappointing. I found the demeanor of every staff member I encountered to be rather impolite. While I was enjoying my meal, I was surprised when the server removed my cake before I had the chance to taste it. This gave me the impression that they were in a hurry to clear the table. I was also disappointed to find that there was no information provided about the amenities, such as the swimming pool or hot tub. Consequently, I didn't make use of any of these facilities. Overall, my experience was far from satisfactory, and I intend to share my negative experience with my family and friends.

Don't waste your money.

We had a stay reserved for June 22nd and the room we got overlooked the golf course, what a great view of the mountains.  Our plans changed so we were able to stay two (2) more nights, Emily at the front desk was great, she amended our reservation and made sure we had passes for the pool.  People like Emily make things easier, she is definitely appreciated.

Excellent customer service at Sandia Resort.

This place is average at best. Definitely not 4 Diamond as they claim. The room was clean and spacious and thats about the only positive. The workers seemed like they didn't want to be there. The manager at the check in desk was short with me and gave me plenty of wrong information. He said his name was Daniel but not sure if that was true or if he was even a manger. He didn't have a name tag or anything signifying he was management. He said the cafe was open late, it was not. He gave us a room credit for a small complaint we had, and he said it could be used in the casino, it couldn't, and I was made to feel like I was stupid for asking. For $400 a night, there's not a whole lot to offer unless you want to hang out at the pool where it seems like they may be open to the general public. Everything is expensive and quality is not the best. We stayed for 2 nights and spent over $1200 and were told only towards the end of our stay we could have been earning points wth a rewards card.

Average place for a higher cost

Always a pleasant stay. Rooms are pretty close to perfect. Clean, tidy, every amenity available and well-stocked. Beds are very comfy. Housekeeping is very attentive and kind. Front desk is efficient and respectful. Food is just yummy  - so much to choose from! May I suggest the salmon! Waitstaff very personable, although some seem to be so serious they appear unfriendly!  Rooms are well insulated from noise... and for a casino... fairly quiet on the gaming floor! Pool is always busy in the warmer weather, but again, main areas inside are insulated from the natural noise of children playing! Very nice gift shop. Parking lot shuttle is johnny-on-the-spot and the drivers are as friendly as could be. This is our go-to destination for a night or two getaway. 

Mini Vacation!

We stayed here last week for a night, just passing through. I appreciated the non-smoking casino. Very comfortable room with a really nice view. The front desk staff was very helpful and suggested where we could find a close restaurant. There were two ladies that helped us Cinthia and Mariah. It was disappointing that there was nothing open late worth eating. Only snack and to go options after a certain time. Would stay here again. 

Quick Stop

Just 9 days ago we said "I do" at Sandia Resort. Planning an out of state wedding could have been challenging and stressful, but it wasn't! Stephanie our wedding planner from the resort was incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating and made this destination wedding stress free. Lodging accommodations were convenient and comfortable. The food during our stay and also at our reception dinner was fantastic. The view of the Sandia mountains and resort waterfalls created the perfect wedding photo backdrop. If you are considering a wedding in New Mexico, I highly recommend Sandia resort. Also, be sure to ask specifically for Stephanie. You will be sure to be in good hands!
