Enjoyed dwelling in clean and accommodated for comfort as far as a mini kitchen full fridge and to not mention again cleanliness of the room. Also a great breakfast spread to wake u up to?! Just can't go wrong staying the night or never leave, but the cherry on the top is the humble, wholesome customer service that is the staff. Just trying to say I enjoy my stay every time, I'm sure u will too.

The place was nice and clean with great pillows and great service. Staff was nice and very attentive to my needs. Definitely will recommends this place to my family and friends. The hot Breakfast was great. There was a lot of options. This hotel is in the center of town and walking distance to many restaurants the new managers is doing a wonder job

A gem in Cortez Colorado

Everything was very clean and neat. Complete with kitchenette. Towels were folded creatively and bathroom was very bright. Food was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of units to chose from and very reasonably priced.

Had a kitchen with pots, dishes for cooking.  Full sized refrigerator that met our needs.  The breakfast was substantial with a great variety of hot and cold options. Evette did a great job keeping everything stocked and ready. Pam, the night concierge was very friendly and helpful. The only problem was the clothes dryer was out of service🥺

Everything we needed.  Great stay

I was extremely happy to stay one night in a room with a King bed at this property.
The room truly was squeaky clean, spacious with  a comfortably firm bed, full size refrigerator, small microwave, electric stovetop (with cookware/dishes etc.), and SAT TV including several free movie channels.  As far as I could tell, all the Suburban rooms are on ground level with parking in front of your door.  The hot breakfast buffet
was the best I've enjoyed in a while:  hot eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, self serve waffle station, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, individual cartons/cans of white and chocolate milk, fruit juices, and V-8 plus fresh fruit!  And the expected mini muffins, English muffins/bread, coffee and various teas, cold cereals and instant oatmeal 
complemented the selections.  Staff were friendly and helpful which was refreshing to experience.  Do not let the older looking exterior of this property fool you - it really is
an excellent place to stay.  (hint:  it is linked with a Quality Inn hotel, too).

A Most Decent and Comfortable Place to Lodge

I stayed here 9/17/23 to 9/21/23 and enjoyed myself.  It is a drive-up motel so you can hear people outside and loud cars.  I liked having my car right outside and I was close to everything. The room was large with a full kitchen.  It had laminate flooring and an updated bath.  Everything worked as intended, even the wifi.  Would stay here again!

Average Motel Would Stay Again

First off, looking at past reviews, it seems that this Suburban Suites/Quality Inn combo was under a different name(s).  

I had stayed on the Suburban Suites side of the complex which is located in a strip of old 1950's style motel rooms.  HOWEVER, they are in the middle of renovating these rooms and bringing them to 21st Century state of the art standards.

I was lucky to stay in one of those (almost 100%) renovated rooms.  The room I stayed in had a small kitchenette, an updated bathroom and vanity area, and ceiling-mounted BRIGHT LED lights.  The floors were hardwood, and had a decent sized HDTV.  I say almost as it looks like they were still in the process of installing/touching up the area around the frame of the door.  Also, I had a nightstand between the two beds, but no bedside-accessible lighting, nor any USB charging stations.  I didnt even have a leisure chair to sit in by the desk.  I am assuming that is something they were in the process of adding in very soon as the rooms on either side were still under re-construction.

That being said, the rest of the room seemed to be fairly clean smelling and overall clean in appearance.  The linens were ABOVE average for a low-to-medium priced motel.  Bed was comfortable.

The parking lot and outer hallway still looks old and non-renovated, but I am assuming that will be one of the final stages of this Choice Hotel conversion (The Quality Inn Rooms are located in the back of the lot).

A simple breakfast bar in the lobby, but plenty of options.

Recently, I seem to be a magnet to places which are either brand new -- paint still drying, or hotels in the midst of some sort of renovation/name conversion.  Hopefully, there will soon be additional reviews once the conversion and renovations are complete.  But even with some minor inconveniences and blemishes of the past still visible, they SEEM to be trying to turn this place into a decent facility.

Renovations Ongoing As Of July 2022.

Sadly I trusted Priceline to give me a 2.5 star hotel guaranteed to be the level of a double tree, ramada or hampton inn. I was excited driving in, knowing I was going to have stay in a nice hotel.
Yikes. the entrance was was horrible turn up with dirty trash cans and i found mouse poop on the windowsill in the room. I would consider this a one star hotel where you sleep and leave. There were plenty of open places in Cortez with signs advertising low rates. Next time I would make a reservation in Cortez but drive thorugh and get something that way.

Yes it looks clean in the photos.  Tell you get int the room. Trash outside in by the door.  Don't take your shoes off. Bring your own sheets and blankets.  Doors busted. Wall with holes, Just dirty inside and out. Could not even patch were they replaced the light above the sink.  The crake running down the wall was scary.  No coffee machine in the room.

This has to be the worst dump I have ever stayed at

Cable went out gog charged twice 209 dollars room was dirtie and the first room room they sent me to was as already occupied very very very unhappy not wort 200 bucks that's for sure never again will I use Priceline or travellodge
