Rooms are a little dated, but cozy.  Our room, 108, has a small stove, refrigerator (w/freezer) and kitchen sink.  Although right by the road, surprisingly little noise can be heard.  If I am ever in this part of the country again, I will definitely stay here.
Laundry for customers onsite, local restaurants and a grocery store very close.  Lots of things to do in Craig.
(Sam, the office dog, is a sweetheart!)

Nice, Easy In/Out Great Location

We had a group stay while we were laying over on our way to raft the Yampa.  First class service, great parking for trailers in the area.  Rooms with lots of character and charm.  Checkin was super efficient and organized.

Great Family Run Motel

It's clean and full of amazing details. In each room there's also a very well-equipped kitchen, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster. In the bathroom there's also a hair dryer. The staff is very friendly.

When camping plans went south we needed a spot. This place was clean, available and the price was right. I didn’t know until we got into the room that there was a small kitchenette too. Definitely a plus.

Wonderful mom and pop layover

Ride the motorbike into town after 9 hours in the saddle. Wyoming was windy and tired me out. 

Asked a local for a recommendation and he gave me directions. 
Easy to find. On the Main Street, next to a grocery store. 

Called ahead by 5 minutes and Randy picked up the phone. 
Pleasant, professional and friendly. 

Rode across the parking lot to check in. Took five minutes. 
He then offered a rag to clean the bike. 

The room is clean, new / re-done and what I needed. Coolest thing is the rooms are themed. Ours was a railroad theme. 

Booking sites rate it as 2 star out of 5. Ok, it doesn’t have a pool (I think) but has good parking, clean and fully detailed rooms. It was perfect. 

The bed was very welcome but as I had no aches the next morning it must have been comfortable. 

Low cost, clean, and the best experience of our 2 week bike trip. 

Best homey motel out there

I had to bail out of camping on a motorcycle trip and wound up here. It's kind of an old-fashioned hunter's theme hotel with some kitchen amenities and is well kept. While it's clearly not new construction the wall hangings and bedspread and furniture were in theme and seemed new. My room was the "mountain goat" room.  The staff was very friendly, parking was generous and pricing quite reasonable.  Restaurants and grocery are within easy walking distance.

Good place to stay

My friend and I stayed here for a week and enjoyed it thoroughly! Randy and his co workers were super helpful! The room was a good size with a full kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of parking. Has a nice play area with a working grill which was easy to use. Near two grocery stores.

Shabby chic

first impression! total dive!! over all the place was average and old. not the best, but also not the worst. wife and I checked in and got upgraded to the double king master suite!! LOL. the stair and door to get in were extremely small, but the room itself was really large. slept well for an overlook on to main street

average motel

The accommodation is really very simple, but the very small rooms are equipped with a kitchen. This makes the room very narrow. Since we were there during the hunting season, the room was not exactly cheap. The staff was very friendly but seemed a little curious at first glance. The rooms were clean on the outside, but the furniture could be changed. The water smelled strange, kind of like mold. For a night on the road, you can do that.

Easy motel in Craig

The motel is very old, and it's right in Craig, a small town in Colorado. It's a privately run motel, in the rooms you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, which makes the room very small, but in front of the rooms you can sit on benches. An older lady greeted us at the Elk Runn Inn, I was looking directly at the bottle of whiskey under the counter, this woman was very special, but she was very friendly and kind.
