Roaches. See pictures I’m uploading. 
No coffee maker. They had one in office with an out of order sign. Next morning the sign was still there. We paid $95. for one night and the least they could have done would have been to hike it to Walmart and get a resplendent coffee maker for their guests. Only one electrical plug worked. The curtains should have been replaced 25 years ago. They were falling down from the rod and held together with wooden clothespins. The “darkening” rubber on the back was peeling and light streamed through. The motel is back a long driveway, off the street, and the whole place looks seedy and sketchy. We reserved online and wouldn’t have stayed if we could have gotten our money back. I’ll have to unpack outside so no stowaway critters come to live with me.  The nasty owners should be ashamed.

What a dump!

I live in Crisfield and had family coming to town. I went over to look at the rooms and was absolutely shocked. Parking lot looked like a war zone, table pulled out of one of the rooms with beer bottles all over it (early afternoon),pool was covered with vegetation growing up,  when the lady opened the door to show me the room, it was dark and the a/c unit was apart. Save yourself the bad experience and go over to Somers Cove Motel. Better price and accommodations.

No!!!

First, it baffles me that a firm like Expedia.com would have absolutely NO IDEA of the condition of this run-down, ill-kept, facility hidden away in a desolate part of the city of Crisfield, MD.  
THERE BEING NO DEAD BOLT on the door, I shoved a chair between the door and my bed--to make sure it was secure--since the appearance and location of the Budget Inn resembled a place where robberies or worse could take place.  We were so dismayed that we cancelled our FAMILY plans to use 9 rooms in this Inn in June...no way would we subject our family to this trap...even the swimming pool (promoted on-line) had been filled in with dirt.  UGH...never going back.

EXPEDIA...REALLY???

Advertisement was FALSE!  The parking lot was in terrible disrepair. The room numbers on the doors were written in magic marker. Upon entering the room, had a heavy smoke odor...lighting was dark, no modern appliances...The bathroom had stained tiles hanging from the ceiling.  Crisfield business community should be ashamed to even list this hotel in their directory and the Crabplace should remove them from their list of recommended places to stay.  We were disgusted and I made sure that the owners knew how we (party of six) felt.  The only thing in their favor is that they were slightly cheaper than the Paddelwheel, but no where near as up to date or clean.DO NOT BOOK HERE!  RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!
