This resort/campground is amazing! Polite and friendly at check in, grounds were clean and neat. Showers and laundry spotless! Sites were large, black topped with plenty of room for our awning to be out. Very helpful for local information. We stayed at other campgrounds that cost us more that ranked far below this one. We will definitely be back.

Our hosts are so nice, helpful and friendly. Their home was lovely. 
All the John Wayne memorabilia was fun.  Our room was "Big Jake"
Breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. 
We were greeted with a delicious treat each evening.
The local attractions were close by and easy to get to.
I would stay here again.

AWESOME

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend.  It was our first B&B experience, this place was everything we hoped a B&B would be.  The rooms were clean and cozy.  Leslie made some amazing breakfast and we looked forward to what she would have each morning!  Her and Ron were great company and fun to chat with!  The place is nicely located between Hill City and Keystone so either is an option when you are looking for activities to do.  We couldn’t have been happier with their service!

Cozy and homey with great hosts

We had a wonderful experience at the Elk Ridge Bed & Breakfast in August 2020. Leslie & Ron were wonderful hosts.  Our room was clean and fit with all the amenities we needed.  We had our own private deck and it was lovely to sit outside in the early morning or evening and enjoy the beauty of the area.  Wonderful breakfasts and snacks and even a separate fridge for the beverages we brought with us.  Easy to find, between Keystone and Hill City. Highly recommend!

Feels like home!

We are fairly new to the BNB experience, and will put this one at the top of our list for hospitallity!  We wanted for nothing, and they exceeded our every expectation.  Leslie started us off with a healthy and hearty breakfast and a welcomed prayer.  She and Ron joined us and made us feel like members of the family.  They knew of our plans for the day and offered friendly, local tips to enhance the experience.  We ended each day sharing a bedtime homemade treat and our stories from the day.  More than once we slipped and called the BNB 'home'.  The home is nestled in the woods with amazing views of the Ponderosa Pines capped with snow, the Black Hills, and the wildlife (deer, chipmunks).  We highly recommend this site for anyone seeking a comfortable retreat in the Black Hills of South Dakota!

Our Home Away From Home

My husband and I spent 3 nights in this beautiful bed and breakfast this past weekend Leslie and Ron were the perfect hosts. They were attentive to our every need and Leslie’s breakfasts were delicious. Would highly recommend this B&B.

Wonderful Bed and Breakfast

We spent 3 nights with Leslie and Ron and they were the perfect hosts. Every morning at 8:00 AM the dining room table was set with different placemats, dishes, centerpieces to say nothing of the delicious food. Leslie greeted us when we returned from tourist activities and the setting was so peaceful filled with pine trees, an occasional deer and many birds. Wish we were still there!!.

Top-notch Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed at Elk Ridge for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. Leslie and Ron are such sweet people and made us feel right at home. The room and bathroom were spacious for a couple and we loved how quiet and peaceful the area is. We saw several deer around the b&b and enjoyed giving attention to their kitty. We really enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and great conversations during that time. It was clear that Leslie enjoys cooking and hosting people at their place. A bonus was that the different attractions we wanted to visit (Mount Rushmore, Needles Highway, Custer Park, etc.) were less than 30 minutes away. We also enjoyed checking out a few local restaurants especially the Powder House which they recommended. Overall, we would love to go back and stay at Elk Ridge if we get a chance.

Wonderful Getaway!

Spent 2 wonderful nights at this beautiful home. Nestled between Keystone and Hill City with a view of Mt Rushmore. Leslie and Ron are sincerely dedicated to providing the best bnb experience! The rooms are nicely appointed and meticulously clean. Leslie's breakfasts are gourmet and delicious! The home is quiet, even when other guests are there. Each room has its own entrance from the outside. Sleep number mattresses and luxurious bedding guarantee a good nights rest! The hosts are very knowledgeable giving recommendations for a great meal or tourism. It doesn't get more perfect than this! Highly recommend.

A slice of heaven in South Dakota

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights, and wish we'd have booked more!  Nestled in the pines, this beautiful country location is exactly the quiet setting we were looking for.  The location is perfect, right between Keystone and Hill City, everything was within easy access.  Leslie and Ron truly care about their guests and it shows in every detail, from the cleanliness of the rooms, the amazing comfortable beds, the relaxing atmosphere and of course Leslie's delicious breakfasts!  Every morning something different, and delicious, all served on a beautiful table by Leslie.  Prepare to enjoy a variety - something you don't often get in a B&B. If you need information, directions, or advice on your sight-seeing, Leslie and Ron will give you all the knowledge they have from their years in the Black Hills. You won't find a better B&B in this area.  We will return knowing we have the perfect place to stay.
