Our toilet was broken. Would not flush. Condom wrappers were left on the bathroom counter the bathroom was not clean. Hair on floor told me it hadn't been cleaned. Water leaking across floor from under the mini fridge. Tried to tell the older indian woman in office about toilet but she couldnt understand so gave up. Would not recommend

Steer clear

Made reservations online with conformation code.. Upon arrival room was booked already by another guest...Was offer another room which was smoking an I don’t smoke...Had to make another reservation at another hotel!!

The owner is very nice and helpful with accommodating for our last minute reservations.  The location was perfect for us. The hotel had everything my family needed to enjoy our stay. The staff was always pleasant to interact with. When I am in the area again, I will definitely stay here again.

It was exactly what we needed!

I had no where but here to stay in Dawson. Grandson was being born. So stayed here with other grandson. Place is so dirty. They yelled at me for usung towels to clean floor. My grandsons knees were so black. So had to wash floor with something. No maid service unless you go after them. So i choose to clean on own. Had to go to store to get lysol. My grandson ended up at doctors really sick. Guy at front desk yelled and yelled at me because i used his towels. Old rooms. Broken refrigerator. Towels hard and had holes. I will never stay there again. Just wanted a clean place to be with my grandson while daughter was waiting for second grandson to be born. To end up with a sick kid and get yelled at for cleaning was a horrible experience. If stay there make sure you have something to clean floor with. Also lots of lysol. I hated seeing my two year old grandsons legs so black.

Dive.  Horrible place

The room was the worst I've ever stayed in, anywhere!  There was a foul odor I called to the attention of the desk clerk, an elderly disheveled gentleman that spoke and understood very little English.  He came to the room and sprayed deodorizer which covered the foul odor for a few minutes.  The mattress was the thickness of one you'd find on a "baby bed."  The box spring was normal size.  The bathtub did not drain well and I showered with soapy water rising above my ankles.  I told the desk clerk I didn't wish to stay there and would like my money back.  He just stared at me and did not reply.  So, rather than waste the dollars, I stayed.  The room charge was about double what the room quality would deserve.  This place was once a Ramada Inn, according to a certificate on the wall.  It once served breakfast and the cereal dispensers are still in the lobby.  There's also an old, ratty couch in the lobby with a sheet tossed on it and a pillow. Evidently someone sleeps here and doesn't care what the office looks like.  This place needs to be razed and turned into pasture land, or something.  It certainly convinced me to go to Albany on my next visit, get a quality motel there, and commute to Dawon..

Stay in Albany and Drive to Dawson

The night clerk was not friendly, as seemed to have awakened him, but did give me a ground floor when I requested it. The room was older but clean, bed was comfortable and no bugs. There was no coffee or amenities provided for the coffee maker that was in the room.  The ice machine was just plain scary when I went to get some, appeared to be dirty and moldy so did not use it. Ample parking as we where pulling a car trailer.
Advertised a continental breakfast from 6 AM to 9 AM, we walked in at 08:25 AM and it was all put away and lady was finishing cleaning up. The desk clerk reluctantly walked over and turned on the orange juice dispenser for us since the cleaning lady just walked away and that was it she would not even talk to us. The staff in general was not friendly at all, it was like what are you doing here, even the clerk as I returned the room key was not at all friendly. Not a Good evening or Good morning or a hope you enjoyed your stay or was everything ok with your room. Not even a smile. Wifi was available but not sure if it was free or at a cost, as had to call to get it and did not want to bother the grumpy night clerk. It was late so just went to sleep. Oh and did not even give me a receipt.
