This place is special. Every room is unique and full of handcrafted architectural details.  Walking distance to everything in the Del Mar village and some of the upper rooms have views of the ocean. No other place is like this inn, and there are few places that capture some of the old California vibe like Les Artistes Inn.

A unique Del Mar inn

We were so glad to find this gem in Del Mar particularly being dog friendly! Very comfortable, beautiful sheets! And they even have a dog area to bath your furry friends after the beach. Thoroughly recommend and will certainly be back. Thank you!

Gorgeous, unique and very friendly

I love everything not ordinary, and this property is exactly my type! Every single part of this Inn is unique and cozy. All rooms are different. Galway is full of sitting areas. Stuff very helpful and kind. U will find all you need there. In Room- heir drier, robes, books(if you in to that),extra blanket and etc., they also have dishes and glassware along with wine openers and anything you may need in the hallways. 
The beach is in a fair distance from the Inn, but ocean overlook is next door. 

If you looking for not your usual holiday inn express, this is an amazing option for a fair price!

Lovely Jam of Del Mar

This quaint boutique motel is friendly, comfortable and clean. The outdoor fireplace is a nice touch. The pictures portrayed the room accurately. We stayed in the Zen room which was a nice size to move around in. The bed and pillows were Very comfortable and the shower was relaxing with good pressure.  The bathroom is small but very clean. We loved hearing the sound of the fountain outside our room, very peaceful. Although it was too cool to sit on the deck off the room it was very private and quiet.  Restaurants and shopping are very close. There is nothing fancy about the place but we would definitely stay there again. 

Comfortable 

Go open-minded. It’s great if you want something more unique. Staff were lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the bed and sheets! Air conditioner didn’t work great. Convenient to walk to ocean views and dining options. Road work still going on in Del Mar, beware. Rooms all different and it’s a fun experience.

Fun and different!

This quaint hotel was one of our all time favorites. Just adorable, clean, great bedding and a view of the ocean.  Well situated in Del Mar CA. Very nice and helpful host who served us coffee and biscotti in the morning. Hated to leave. I wish I could add more pictures. 

Great quaint boutique hotel!

This little artsy odd Inn is located in a terrific spot in Del Mar. Close enough to walk to the beach and stroll the town. The outdoor hallway is more cluttered and dusty dirty than cute and inviting. You will need a blower before you actually want to sit down and touch anything. Our room was inviting in a Spanish motif and unique boho style. The beds were comfortable and warm. Thick dark brown wooden floors. But there really isn’t room to spread out much. Some gnats appeared now and then. The toilet paper isn’t on a holder. The hot water ran out after the first shower. I mean, it was a fun shot in the dark choice for one night but I wouldn’t want to stay there again or for an added day. I ended up missing a pool and a jacuzzi too. I think I’d rather have stayed somewhere more inland and just have visited Del Mar for an evening.

Funky one nighter

There was a crackling fire in the entrance area when we arrived and the owners are very nice. They walked us to our room and showed us around and how to use the heaters, etc. We are from a few cities away and were there for a staycation to celebrate my Birthday. We stayed in the Japanese art room. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were the softest I've ever slept on. There is a nice little view from the patio although being it was 50 degrees out we didn't venture out there for more than a peek. Cute place to stay and easy walk to the beach and downtown Del Mar for food and shopping. Plenty of parking which is free.

We spent last night at this cute little hotel.  What a fun, welcoming place.  
From the moment you wanted through the gates to check it until we left it was fun.
While checking in there was a roaring fire in the outdoor  fireplace to enjoy.
The owner walked us to our room, explained how the heater etc worked, put a log in the fire place in our room and said she hoped we had a perfect time.
Room was clean, large, cute, lots of color and details in the room.  There was a french balcony with an ocean view to enjoy.
As we checked out she asked was it perfect, but of course.  

Quaint, eclectic

My husband and I have stayed here at least 6 times and each time it just gets better. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are charming, some are more spacious than others, but all are clean. Aptly named, Les Artistes’s rooms are all artist themed (Zen, Frieda Kahlo, Diego Rivera, etc), and decorated in the style of that artist. Just three blocks to the Main Street in town, great surf spots and restaurants, this hotel is perfect for people who want a bit of privacy and peace and quiet. Plus it is very fairly priced! In the morning there’s complimentary coffee, pastries and fruit. I 100% recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Del Mar.
