This place is just gross. Saw multiple small roaches on the wall, vanity and in the tub.   Nasty mold around tub. When I pulled the bedspread back, an empty half pint of George Dickel fell out on the floor.

Avoid this place

Bugs. Moved the night stand to get to the outlets, food behind the night stand. Bathtub had no caulking around it. Nasty bugs in the bed, on the floors. I booked for work, only hotel with vacancy. Booked for 9 days. Left after 2 days. They charged me for 9 days. Amex is handling that now. 

Nightmare

Greenwood Inn and Suites is NOT up to par anymore. First off, we booked thinking it was still the Best Western, which it isn’t. They do not even manage this establishment anymore, and now I know why. We booked for MVSU homecoming. The bathroom still had the previous guest’s belongings in the shower and the room was semi cleaned. It looked like they “straightened” up to accommodate more guests because of the type of weekend(homecoming), and they knew guests would need a place to stay. We were in and out our room all weekend, kindly asking housekeeping to provide clean towels and a clean room as we passed her. The entire weekend, OUR ROOM WAS NOT SERVICED! When i complained to the front desk clerk, she stated, “You must of had do not disturb on your door”. I kindly told her no ma’am! The staff were not doing what they needed to do! For the price we paid, we could have at least got clean towels. Next, i asked for a manger, they told me his name was Rick! RUDEST MANAGER EVER! When I complained about our service and HIS STAFF! He basically treated it as an oh well, stating that since I’m checking out, there is nothing he can do! As I explained, we were in and out, it’s homecoming and I didn’t know I needed to micromanage his employees for him! He was not accommodating AT ALL! Several guests complained that their room was not serviced and nasty all weekend. That is unacceptable for guests and customer service was definitely an issue as the lady tonya was also being rude! I would not recommend this hotel if you were on your dying bed and needed a place to rest, please consider booking elsewhere!!

Horrible Management

You hotel is beyond filthy. You can’t sit in the chair they provided at all. It’s too nasty. You can not walk bare feet in the room. Your feet will instantly turn black. The tub had a big dark ring around it. If you don’t answer room service when they knock they will walk right in. The man Mike is not friendly at all. He was walking around in the office bare feet and his feet was black. The room smell terrible. They have those old hutch back TVs in the room. We wasn’t allowed to have guest there.

My Stay at Greenwood Inn

This is by far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my life. Dirty sheets and blankets. The blanket had pubic hair all over it. The floor was so nasty I wore my shoes until i could get in the bed. Holes in the wall, no remote to tv, 6 channels, furniture looks like they got it out of the dump, walls are dirty, multiple holes in curtains, moldy and dirty sink, 2 paper thin towels and 1 washcloth, nasty wooden pallet beside shower.
I am certain the manager was high when we arrived.

The Health Department needs to shut this place down.

CONDEMN THIS NASTY PLACE!

It´s the worst hotel in Demopolis, it´s very dirty, the restroom has lot of bad smells, the towels are old, the bed it´s not clean, frigorade is dirty also. On general all stufs are dirty and unpleasant.
Also, the person in charge is so unpleasant, impolite and rude.

The worst worst worst worst hotel in Demopolis

My husband was staying here for work he had already stayed a few nights for work so his night was comming up to book so i booked the room again for 2 more nights with Hotels.com I received an email conformation that it was all booked and taken care of i even received a text from my debt card that the 110.40 was taken from my account so the room was paid for all he had to do was go change his key needless to say when he went to change his key the owner Mike told him the room was not paid for but then proceeds to tell him that he can not give him the room for the price he paid cause his price is more expensive, ok so how do you know what I paid if you have no information on the booking. So my husband proceedes to tell him ok then let me go get my things out of the room and the owner Mike to him he could not get his things out until he came up with more money. He started screaming at my husband and threw a paper at him and was waving the phone in his face He was very rude Hotels.com called him to straightnin out this matter and he was screaming at the person on the phone and hung up on her  He was holding my husbands things for ransom My husband had to pay another 67.00 and call the police just to be able to get his things out the room and leave that nasty place. So this Crook Mike the owner got 110.40 dollars and another 67.00 from us Please do not stay here they are scammers and want more money than the hotel is worth it is not even worth 20.00 a night

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE VERY RUDE AND AFTER YOUR MONEY

My siblings and I decided to stay here because we were in town for a funeral. Never again will I stay here. The office is disgusting. When you step in the room the smell will hit you. The carpet need a deep cleaning and a good airing out. The TV is outdated and the mini fridge and microwave could use a cleaning. The bathroom had mold on the walls and the toilet set moved when you say down. The shower head needed to be replaced years ago. We had 3 bath towels and 1 wash cloth. We asked for more towels and the housekeeper actually counted them. When we left for the day (around 10 am) we assumed the room would be cleaned and the towels would be replaced. Nope, we were told that night that the towels were replaced that morning and people only shower once a day. We asked him could he get towels from another room and the look on his face was like "are you serious". A stranger was trying to get in the room in the middle of the night. It scared the crap out my w sisters and myself. I would NEVER stay here again. We were out of options and was here for a funeral. This place need to be closed down. Mr. Patel (manager) need serious customer service skills. 

DON'T DO IT!

Made a reservation thru Hotels.com due to having to evacuate due to Irma making a visit to our neighborhood. The reservation was confirmed. After driving 6 hours to get to the motel the desk clerk says he does not have the reservation, I called Hotels.com and they tried to resend the info again to the motel via email and fax, then tried to call them. Even tho I had a confirmation # they wouldn't accept the reservation, but said they had rooms for $10 more than the Hotel.com rate. When I asked to see the room they no longer had rooms available. While I was waiting 3 people came in complaining about erroneous charges on their charge cards. From the looks of the lobby I'm glad that I didn't stay there. Not sure but they thought they could get more from people evacuating FL from the storm than any contracts but just a guess.
