Went to check in and they wanted a cash "deposit".  We are from Canada and do not travel with cash.  They wanted us to take money out of their cash machine to give them which would have given us at least as much as the "deposit" was.  Walked out and went to a hotel that didn't demand a cash "deposit".

Was breaking up a long car ride from Florida.. The room was dirty smelled musty and mold and peeling paint from leaky ceiling.. Was woken up by the fire alarm at 130am that continued screeching. Fire company came and nobody ever checked the rooms.. alarm continued and was disarmed multiple times.. dogs were barking horrible night in a lopsided bed. Curtains stained no screens on windows.. no ice in ice machine. Stay away from this place

Do not stay here..

This was the worst stay I’ve ever experienced. The property was littered with trash and dirt and the smell of weed was inescapable. I was first sent to a room that was already occupied. The front desk staff addresses the issue so nonchalantly and made me sign a make shift contract stating I was switched to a new room. After getting to my “non smoking” room I noticed cigarette smoke stains on every surface. The floor was sticky and it reeked. I left immediately. You couldn’t pay me to stay here. Do yourself a favor and book anything else.

Do Not Stay Here

Booked two rooms months in advance for a big event. 1st staff checked in but did not go to room, Judge for event checked in at 4PM and found stains on bedding, pillows in window seat, dirty temperature control, greasy fingerprints on counters, headboards, coffee maker. Air Conditioner vent was filled with dirt and even the clothset had huge pieces of dust/dirt in the floor. The stains and dirty cobweb like stuff on the bed skirts.  We checked out immediately with the front desk and let manager know on Monday morning. Over a week later and still no refund.  This dirty and duning Covid-19 times...... they really need to be shut down!

My room needed a total overhaul badly.  Very badly.  It was dirty, it was dingy, the mattress was old and uncomfortable, the tub needed resurfacing, no hot water in the sink (although there was hot water in the shower), the toilet paper holder was missing the part that holds the toilet paper sideways (so the roll was on the vanity), the blanket had a hole in a it that looked a lot like a hole from a lit cigarette, even though I was in a no-smoking room, and the hallway sure smelled like cigarette smoke.  Worst part...I nabbed a cockroach running around my bathroom and flushed it down the toilet.  They should have paid me to stay there!

Awful hotel. Check in was late, staff were nasty and I was double charged for my room. Manager did refund the second charge after a phone call. The room was disgusting. Smelled like a smoking room they tried to clean up to be non-smoking. Lingering smoke odor and smell of cleaning products required a good airing out. Bathroom was so filthy that my wife and kids wouldn't use the shower. Poor quality beds. There were burn holes in the blankets. Pillows are cheap and hard. Pool was filthy. My kids found cigarette butts in there.

Im not sure of the comments of those who did not enjoy their stay because as I visited for an entire week, all was quiet and staff were friendly and my stay was pleasant.  They don't serve breakfast but the room was cozy and the appearance was nice.  Thanks to all the staff that made my stay well.

Wonderful Stay

As one knows there are pros and cons  to every business that are open during this time of emergency; for motel 6 off of Two Notch in Columbia SC; I can truly say that during my time staying with them most of the staff have been going above and beyond in helping clients deal with the chaos that is going on in the world today.  Centuria one of the front desk personal is one that I would say has been a light to this business.  She is friendly, well mannered, and willing to help people with knowledge to make their stay an enjoyable one.  Her customer service is one that all should model themselves after.  Keep up the Great work Centuria!  I'm sure this establishment has the business it has because of you and some others!

"BETTER THAN OTHER PLACES"

Staff was nice. Courtesy call to room to make sure everything was ok. I really think it may have been a courtesy call to make sure we made it. Elevator was sketchy, but better than stairway. Room was clean, no issues. Hotel DOES NOT asorb sound well. You have airport string toliets and can hear everyones flushing. Hear anyone shut open doors. There was yelling and cursing out in the parkinglot at 1am. Very sketchy!

Yikes

Room was poorly lit, musty, and looked totally different than pictures online. All night we were constantly awoken by slamming doors and people screaming at each other. The walls were very thin so we could hear everything going on around us. Lots of yelling and fighting. We felt very unsafe and left a night early just to get out of there. DO NOT stay here. The pictures try to portray it as something that it’s not. It was not only a dangerous environment but felt very dirty. There were hairs all over the place...even on the bath towels.
