This is one of our favorite spots on the Oregon coast! We have stayed in several rooms, including the penthouse suite. They modernized and remodeled the place and everything is top-notch! The views are some of the best I've seen and it's a short walk to all the action in downtown Depoe Bay. 

I also want to say that Polly and Nate are the best! We had a small wedding on the coast and used the Inn at Arch Rock as our gathering spot. They made our stay extra special and for that, we will always be grateful. We will definitely be back and will recommend this place to any and everyone! Thanks, Polly and Nate! 

One of the best spots on the Oregon coast!!!

We spent 3 wonderful days at this inn last week.  We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath "apartment" with gorgeous views.  Breakfast was varied and delicious and our hosts were gracious and accommodating in every way.  I'd give this a 12 out of 10 rating.  We were even entertained by a resident seagull who stayed on our balcony railing all day, walking back and forth with us as we moved around.
     Our suite was beautifully updated, complete with a huge soaking tub, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a fireplace and comfortable couches.     It was a perfect getaway and we'd happily go back anytime!

Perfect getaway!

Had a great weekend here. Windows with an ocean view, there are benches outside to enjoy sunny afternoons. Staff is friendly and they make a nice breakfast. Room was more like an apartment, with two bedrooms and a bath, a living room and small kitchen.
Definitely recommend this inn, whether staying for a night or a week. 

Great place to stay.

We first had noticed Inn at Arch Rock was inviting by its looks and location when we ate dinner at Tidel Raves across the way.  We decided the next time we came to Depoe Bay we would make reservations for a romantic getaway there.  It exceeded our expectations.  The General Manager, Nate,  called us ahead of time and asked if we were celebrating anything special.  We told him we were coming for our anniversary. He had a bottle of wine being chilled, two wine glasses and a beautifully handwritten card waiting for us in the room.  The view from the room was spectacular.  The weather was beautiful. It is so conveniently located to restaurants and shops.  No need to drive anywhere. The bed was very comfortable.  The continental breakfast in the morning was way more than your typical breakfast.  The fruit was very fresh.  There were eggs, ham, sausage, biscuits, bagels, oatmeal and yogurt.  More food than we could eat. The coffee is locally roasted and was delicious.  We felt very special when we stayed here.  I would highly recommend this place.  

It exceeded our expectations!

Once again, it was a real pleasure visiting the Inn at Arch Rock. I had recently suffered the loss of my husband and Polly, Nate, and their whole staff were very accommodating during my stay. There were lovely flowers and a very sweet card waiting for me when I arrived which was completely unexpected. They have made more updates since my last stay, including a more varied assortment of breakfast choices; each day has a different "entree" (scrambled eggs; biscuits and gravy; sausage patties; bacon; ham; waffles; hard-boiled eggs and staples like fresh fruit, muffins, bagels and gluten-free options as well. Everything I have eaten has been delicious and my GF family was thrilled that they weren't forgotten! It is a small breakfast area and the managers have figured out how to provide lots of variety in a limited space.

And the whales showed up as if on cue! There were several pods inside the little bay in front of the Inn as well as out further, but still visible with the naked eye. It's like they were putting on a show just for us.

Polly and Nate are the most genuine service-oriented hoteliers I have ever met, second only to European innkeepers whose properties my late husband and I had the pleasure of visiting. Others in the hospitality industry could take a page out of their playbook and benefit from it many times over!

World Class Service!

We loved our stay at the Inn at Arch Rock this passed week. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit (unit 14 highly recommended!) with full kitchen and living room. It was awesome. The space was very clean and just a nice unit in general. It had 2 balconies which we enjoyed relaxing on and staring at the sea. My family enjoyed going down for breakfast each morning. There was a good selection of yummy items and we took full advantage. Any time we needed anything the staff was more than willing to help out and were all so friendly! Our stay was a great experience while in Depoe Bay. Keep it up!

Relaxing stay on the Oregon Coast

This is a small space that isn't represented in the photos.
The main problem was that the floor drops about 4 inches over a couple of feet. There's not much privacy because the windows/sliding doors look out on a common area (the access to the beach stairs).  
The room we had was adjacent to the breakfast room. We were waken up early by staff noise every morning even though we told them about the problem.
Stairs to the beach are sitting on the grass with traffic cones -really not the view we paid for. They should have found a less conspicuous location for it.
Generally the location of the Inn is  good.
Breakfast 3/5.
Kitchenette just adequate.
It would be helpful to have the Inn's floorplan/layout on the website.

Great Location

The room was clean. The furniture was functional. The back deck was nice, however, there was no table to set your drink or a book.

The sink is in the hallway as you enter the room, so it is separated from the toilet and shower. And it’s so close to the door, it’s not in an ideal location. The shower did not have a shower mat and the floor was pretty slippery, in addition, the shower curtain was installed too low, so it actually crowded into the floor of the shower.

The single biggest issue that we had was that the bed was very firm to the point where it was uncomfortable. The pillows were also not very good. The sheets had been washed in scented detergent and that’s not good. 

We did not try the breakfast as it is served in the very tiny lobby that is filled with bric-a-brac for sale. It’s a very uncomfortable space.

The outside of the buildings is tired.

The location is excellent with great coastal views.
Some of the rooms are a little tired but there is a refurbishment programme in the meantime things are comfortable and everything works.
We arrived a little before check in time and accessed our room without issue.
We were most impressed with the surprisingly good breakfast available, thank you.

Breakfast is excellent

Well, they've done it again! In addition to remodeling many of the older rooms, Nate & Polly have added a wine social to the list of amenities provided to guests at the Inn at Arch Rock. One weekend a month, they host guests of the Inn for charcuterie and wine tasting. Most recently they featured wines from Depoe Bay Winery. Such thoughtful displays of hospitality already shown by management and staff keep adding to the list of reasons why we love it here.
