After making a prepaid reservation through Choice Hotels over the phone, I pulled in to this motel at 9:30pm, exhausted from a day of driving. No one was in the closed office; banging on the door brought no one. When I tried to call a number listed for the property, I got a reservation service that “did not recognize my number. While waiting on hold to talk to Choice Hotels customer service to cancel my payment, a couple pulled in beside me. I warned them the office was closed up, but they said the guy was their friend and they had called him and he was “on his way.” After (finally) getting through at Choice Hotels, I was back on hold while they unsuccessfully tried to reach the office. To their credit, my payment was refunded.

When I finally checked in at a competing hotel across the street, the night manager said “no one is ever in that office,” they get many travelers unable to check in at the Quality Inn... and that in her other, hospital job, they often admit patients who have OD’d there. Some “don’t make it out again.” 😣

This place is NOT a legitimate hotel. Choice Hotels needs to sever their affiliation with them. I no longer trust Choice’s diligence in certifying that their properties are well-run. Hilton Honors and Wyndam, I’m coming back to you!

Do NOT go here...sketchy scam

I have stayed in several motels over the years, but this is the worst one of them all. The  whole place was falling apart.  No ice, no snacks and no breakfast.  If it hadn't been so late, we would have found some place else to stay.  We will never consider staying in another Quality Inn!

Big Mistake!

My hubby and I cane to Dickson to see my dad and my aunt we chose this hotel because it was cheap and other hotels were booked. 

Big mistake. The first night we were thete 9 cops were st the front rooms of the hotel and they were searching cars, and rooms. 

The lady that owns the hotel came to our room the 2nd night knocked on our door and was screaming at us. At first we could not understand her and the couple staying a few doors down said a key was missing and that she thought we took it. We checked out the next night and went over to the comfort inn across the street. Way better rooms and very clean. 

Please don't think that these reviews are people nit picking they are not. The reviews saying that it was nice and clean are fake. Go across the street. 

STAY AWAY

DUMP AVOID, the local landfill would compare equally to this place, Filthy hardly describes it. Broken beds blood on the walls filthy scummy shower/ tub no shower curtain no toilet paper, drug dealers scanks renting rooms by the hour, monthly renters/ drunks missing bulbs water leaking ceiling falling down from people walking upstairs etc etc. I can not believe Choice Hotel Brands would condone a property like this.

Lack Of Quality Inn

My DH and I booked this hotel the night before stay thru Hotwire. I read the reviews after this hotel was selected for us. The reviews were not good, so I was actually really worried. 
Well, I didn’t have to worry after all.
The room we stayed was clean and newly renovated.
Clean wood floor, granite bathroom counter, and bathroom walls and floor had nice tiles on. The king size bed was comfortable and bedding was clean.
However the bathtub was old and some spots were painted over. 
We had breakfast there and it was adequate for 2.5 star hotel.  Since we ate there around 7am, it was not crowded.
We spent about 8 hrs total at the hotel but overall it was good experience for us.

Newly renovated, clean hotel

The negative reviews are correct. I stopped by for one night on my way East. I have nothing good to say about this place. The minute you turn into the lot, you say up ohhhh. Yeap your instincts are correct. I thought well maybe it’s not so bad inside, it is😩

Dallazman

Stay away! Far, far away! 

My family and I have stayed here quite a few times over the years and always been pleased. They’ve had a sign up saying “under new management” for the last 4 years and this was the first time it was painfully obvious they have new management. New management that doesn’t care what the place looks like. New management that doesn’t care if the place is clean. New management that just doesn’t care. 

The first room we were placed in was dirty and gave me a “don’t take your shoes off” feeling. The flooring was peeling up, there were cobwebs and dead bugs of all kinds in all the corners, and the bathroom was - well to put it nicely - my family all decided we would wait to shower at our final destination the next day. 

We were switched to another room after it started raining and our first room began to flood. The second room was cleaner but still not great. At least the bathroom was clean enough we felt comfortable showering. Beds were comfortable but the stains on the sheets and pillowcases made me want to demand my money back so we could move on down the road. 

We didn’t bother eating breakfast there although we did walk down to see what was available. The typical motel breakfast options were offered but most looked as though they’d been sitting out all night long. At that point my family made the unanimous decision to NEVER return to this motel. 

Obviously we weren’t expecting Ritz Carlton standards but come on, “quality” is in the name of the place. It could have at least been clean. 

YUCK!!!

This place is SHADY, NASTY, OLD, & BUGS! Floor was missing, parts of furniture were missing, dirty and cobwebs. The 2nd room was as bad as 1st. Demanded a full refund. Not certain how this place is part of this franchise.  Do NOT recommend. 🤮

NO NO NO

front desk clerk has no personality. Room had a horrible smell, trash 9n the floor, something on the door and a torn up chair. I asked for refund after 2 minutes on property. Was charged a $60 deposit and was not told about it. Found out from my bank.

nasty rude should not be choice brand

We had a four night stay booked and paid for.  We went to the first room we were given.  It had a half a pop in the fridge, dried toilet paper in the tub as well as a half bar of soap left on the tub.  They put us in another room.  There were TWO bags of fast food left in the fridge and a drawer full of socks left.  We took the socks and food to the desk.  She kept saying "Sorry, sorry".  She did offer us a free night and we declined. 
 We stayed the four nights because it was close to our activities. There was No T.V. for all the nights we were there.  She said they had called the cable company. B.S. We couldn't even get antenna channels.  
 We ALWAYS wore socks or shoes because the floors were gross and sticky in some places.  It made our socks black.  The pool was ok but obviously needed more chlorine and cleaned.  We got locked out of our room twice and also had them come knock on our door saying we weren't supposed to be in there.  It's obvious that people are living there permanently.  It was pretty shady at times with all the "different" people in and out.  We did get a discount on our room.  She said "Give me a good review".  No way!!!  All we wanted was a clean room. 
 The breakfast bar had biscuits but no gravy.  They said they've been out for two weeks.  The last day there they had hard boiled eggs for breakfast and water thin waffle batter.  We knew it wouldn't be the Hilton but there is absolutely NO reason it can't be clean.
