The room was large and clean. There was a porch that we could sit on and watch the evening sky darken over the Mountains. Everything about our stay was lovely. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony.

Under New Management - charming location, nice clean room.

It is way better than the last time , I visited last in 2019 and the place has lots of improvements under new management, I sray in the only available suites room in Dillard with Budgetel, The rooms are clean with nice fragrance, I spend my summer in Dillard or NC , this will be my choice from now on , I loved staying here yesterday and I will come back , the most amazing part is that new management informed me that pet is allowed, It is now fun to be with family and my dog and spend my vacation in Dillard in a suite room with reasonable cost. Loved it 

Better , cleaner , affordable, under new management 

Horrible experience. The hotel room was filthy and in terrible shape. Plus it had live bugs & dead bug stuck on tape on wall. The bed cover had stains. Only one person at hotel during for check in and she was dealing with issues in other rooms. Changed rooms 2 hours after original check moved rooms but had to take sheet from 1st room because they did not have clean sheets and that room was to be cleaned.

What a great experience! Room was perched on small cliff, with magnificent views of Blue Ridge Mtns. Spacious (more like a suite than a room), clean, and spotless. Endless cable channels, great climate control, soft towels, and an awesome rocking chair on the deck. And the owners were efficient, kind and sweet. Absolutely will return!

Amazing Views, Great Rooms, Sweet Owners

Sewage from the laundry room running every where you can see the tissue and ficies running out all over pavement at tbe laundry room the whole sewer system is connected from all three buildings The Owners should be held responsible!!!! This can cause Health Issues there are kids living in the 300 building Complain to the people over the office NOTHING its about the money for them not the welfare of the guest!!!!!

Sewage back up flooding nasty sewage every where!!!!!!

I was in the office and watched management tell the guest they have to pay in cash and instead of putting the money in the register they put it in their pocket!!I asked for a reciept for my records no

Look like a welfare hotel

I have been coming here for many years for the summer because of family. All the times I have been here this place has been a great place to stay at. I know this place wasn't it as great in the past, but this place has really made an improvement with the room remodels. I am definitely going to come back. 

Great Place to Stay for a Great Price

Friendly owners. Perfect for dogs. Walk to wine tasting, antique, cafe, and grocery. Easy drive to clayton,highlands,Franklin and national parks. Breakfast includes egg,sausage, juice etc. Beautiful mountain view from room. Will be back.

Huge clean room with view

The people that they have in the front office as management they rent to any body especially meth head herione addicts. And when they dont have their rentthey let them go in other guest's rooms to clean not knowing if these people will take from the guest!!! They say non smoking rooms all the rooms people smoke in. They charge people extra for non smoking!!! There is a constant sewage leak!! They have people sleeping on tuned over stained mattresses!!!!! The people work for themare being paid under the table no taxes taken out is that against the law. Do inspectors inspect Hotel's!!!

Renting rooms to meth heads and herione addicts allowing them o clean guests rooms to pay for their rooms

I stopped in after a long late night drive with the kids all asleep and the staff was more than accommodating.  We were put in their large wing on the top of the hill and the room was fantastic.  There was ample room to stretch out and be comfortable and the beds were extreamly comfortable.
