Property seems a bit outdated and could use some updating. Lack of sewer hook ups was disappointing. Seems only seasonal sites had full hook up? The river and waterfall was a nice touch. Didn't get a chance to check out the cave. 

Great River View

This is a first-come, first-serve campground. We were very anxious since there was only 2 full hookup sites available. There was no staff on duty or camp store so any questions needed to be made during certain business hours by phone. The area was pleasant and close to the many wineries and breweries in the area.

Attended the 2022 Motocross of Nations we were grossly overcharged and disappointed!
If you need anything don’t waste your time with the staff in the office, just ask for the manager she makes things happen! 

Services were a disappointment

Cabin was as described but only came with a half roll of paper towels and toilet paper, and 1 trash bag. Was charged a $250 cleaning fee after cleaning the best we could with the toiletries the property provided.  

Great location, but poor customer service and cabin amenditiies

Staff was great to deal with but overall our stay was terrible for what we paid.  Way overpriced and no services to back up what was paid.  It was convenient to an event that we were attending down the road.  We were told that everything was booking up so we panicked and booked well in advance thinking that this would be the only place available. No sewer hook ups, no Wi-Fi, washrooms were dirty and not cleaned during our 4 night stay. A tree fell beside our campsite almost taking out the power hook ups. We could have stayed down the road for a 1/4 of the price. We would not recommend this place and we will not return.  

Unhappy camper at Bear Cave

Beautiful cabin, actually it’s more like a tiny house. Loved it. Finding the cave was a bit strange, signs are clearly unclear. Fyi the cave entrance is inside the store!! Be sure to check the weather if you want the cave, it has to close for rain. They have canoes but you must be 18, not sure if the pontoons are rentable or if they offer boat rides?

This camp is way off the highway. Sure its gated, but so many full timers, no real directions or signage withi park that it was difficult to  find spaces, we felt uneasy. When finally locating our space, someone was already parked there. Wecould not reack anyone, so left and found another place to camp.

Bear cave is such a pretty place. But honestly the people running it, are such a joke. If you’re young do not even bother coming here they will harass you for everything “just because you’re young”. The bathrooms are not clean what so ever. Our spot electrical box was messed up so our electric  was barley running . The seasonal sites think they own the place so you get yelled at 24/7. It’s just a joke and business is Terrible.

Friendly staff, beautiful park.  The campground is near the quaint town of Berrien Springs that has a great grocery store with low prices, friendly staff, and good quality produce.  We only wish we could have stayed longer at Bear Cave!  So much to do and see.

Great Location, Quiet and Welcoming Park

Check out the river for fishing, boating and the waterfall is stunning.  Sites clean, bathhouses clean.  Great manager!  Like I said in my review, Nature at it's best!!  Verizon, not so good at my spot but my brother had great service at his.
