We stayed at the inn this past weekend for our wedding and hosted our rehearsal dinner there, as well as used their banquet room for me (the bride) and bridesmaids to get ready in the morning of the wedding, as well as have breakfast, and hosted our farewell breakfast there the next day. Every single thing this entire weekend was great! The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Not only did they go above and beyond for everyone who was there for us, but they also came back to say goodbye on Sunday before we left, which made us feel so special. The rooms were so nice and clean. I couldn’t have been any happier with our experience for our wedding weekend! It was more than I could have asked for!

Unfortunately there are not many good things I can say about this place. Location is great for sure, however hotel doesn't have car park, yes, there is a private car park not far, but it is payable from 9am - 5pm, and we couldn't get app to work, so you need to be outside paying station bang on 9am to make sure you pay until 5pm, if not, parking ticket will be waiting for you. So if you have a meeting before 9am, and you need to leave car at the car park, you will be in trouble. I guess it is what it is. The worse part were the rooms! As "a newly refurbishment" establishment, few things were definitely missed, for examples gaps under the door, some of them up to 2 inches, which creates no privacy, especially between rooms with connecting doors to other guest rooms. You can hear absolutely everything from room next door, ever if someone farts! Is that bad. We stayed there for few nights, and I promise I would never go back. The room was facing another building with windows at very close proximity, which meant you couldn't open blinds even in the bathroom. One positive is food, we had dinner one night at the hotel, and it was really good. But unfortunately that is not enough to even consider this place for future stay, as every night we had terrible sleep.

Not a good experience

The hotel was centrally located to the shops n restaurants of Doylestown. It is ild and historic but very well cared for. Enjoyed the decor and complemented the visit. We did not visit the restaurant or bar but they looked lovely and were busy. The rooms were minimally but tastefully decorated.
Would recommend updating the sheets n bedding to high end sheets. They were well used and getting yellowed with age. 
My daughter and her daughter visited for a 3 day weekend to celebrate my granddaughter’s 16 th birthday.

A three day weekend to celebrate a birthday

It was a quick sister get away for bridal shower. The Inn was perfect and even better because the shower was in their party room/salon on the second floor! Jackie at the front desk was a delight and made the stay even more pleasant.

This boutique style hotel is very cute and really plays up the history.  The room we stayed in (the mercer) was cozy and big enough for 2. I liked having the little table for us to eat breakfast and stuff.  The room was very clean for the most part and I am a fanatic in hotel rooms,  the only issue I found was when adjusting the room temperature the vent in the closet above the extra pillows was very dusty like a little kitty was sitting in the vent.  The bathroom was very clean,  but we didn't risk the jet tub only showered. The only real issue is it is noisy, you can hear things echo up and down the halls and it's pretty loud.  I would stay again though because it's quaint and in a phenomenal location.  Parking is a hassle but if you get into the small street lot it's pretty affordable and you can download an app to make sure you pay timely.  We are from the attached restaurant once for brunch and were pretty disappointed, the food was average and we expected more based on the reviews.  Luckily there are many restaurants in the area within walking distance that are very good.

The rating could have been easily a 4 but because of the following
1. Parking. There is no dedicated parking. It is available on the street and on a public parking lot, metered. It is free from 5 pm to 9 am, which could mean you can't check in earlier than 5 pm OR you can't sleep in because you have to feed the meters. There are days you can't park on the street for two hours because of street cleaning.
2. Wi-Fi is spotty. Some of us do work remotely or need to be online. The connection was weak and spotty. 
3. Breakfast. Lukewarm coffee, granola bar and  Yoplait yogurt, the kind with no fruit and fake flavoring. I get it, they want you to eat at their restaurant but the breakfast menu was limited.
The room was nice and comfortable, location is great, staff very nice. There are other quaint inns and B&Bs in the area. This place is not worth $233. I won't be back.

Lacking Amenities 

Ideally located in the center of town with a fun and interesting lobby, quaint and quirky features and a bar and restaurant on site with well delivered and tasty food. The staff were friendly to our large party who had booked four of the rooms.It's important to nate that the hotel does not have parking and you are left to fend for yourself on the street ( meters ) or in the public parking spaces at the rear of the hotel behind State Street ( pay/ display ticket) It was not made clear in the rooms what the parking situation entailed - one of our group received a ticket - and we feel it should have been spelled out to the residents clearly what their options were, times of operation of the meters etc. It was tricky.. and we feel the owners should be more attentive to that- and offer information and solutions to the problem.
Our room had a noisy guest above us doing a bit of stomping around in the early morning - an old hotel has these noise issues - which was annoying, and one room had a small dripping water leak from the ceiling over the bed.
The most upsetting part was being unable to eat at the restaurant on checkout morning. Our party - 6 adults 2 kids all hungry - could not be accommodated in the ( largish) restaurant as they said they were "booked ". As residents for the previous three nights - with four rooms booked - we feel the hotel could have at least warned us in advance - say, the night before, that they were going to be busy on the Sunday morning - obviously residents do not have a priority in their booking schedule.
We were left to scour the early morning town for breakfast before checking out - eventually resorting to the dependable Starbucks - as nothing else was open/available.

Small Town Inn with a couple of negatives

Room was excellent and very comfortable. Loved the fireplace. Your location is also great bars restaurants and other attractions all in walking distance. Would recomend and will definitely return for another good time.

Would stay again at this inn in Doylestown, the nice young woman at the desk made my check-in a breeze

The location is great in the center of Doylestown close to everything with parking not being too hard to find

Accommodating, clean, good location 

We were visiting Bucks County. The Inn was a very nice stop in heart of Doylestown. The property is historic and well maintained. The room was lovely, clean , and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
