This inn was exactly what I had expected from the online description. The owner was gracious and attentive, and my room was freshly remodeled and very nice. The bed was comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. I liked that I could park right by the door to my room, made it very easy to bring stuff in.

Lovely Inn in Dunmore MA

This was a great stay. The room was small but but had refrigerator & microwave & hair dryer. The owners have done a great job renovating it! The price was fair and the owner was so very nice and personable! We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Only a couple of things, maybe a table lamp on the end table to watch tv and maybe a hook in the bathroom for the hand towel. Otherwise, good stay!

Clean and Comfortable bed!

Don't fall for their scam. They over charge and discriminate. She had no problem asking me for $50 up front as a cash security deposit and even though I think that's very strange for a legitimate business I provided her the $50. She then canceled my complete trip when I asked for a receipt and she told me to leave. 

This exact situation happened to me at another local hotel in a neighboring county and the cops were called and they informed us that there was the current investigation and apologized for it happening. I have not stayed at that hotel since that day but I did stay at the hotel for 20 years prior. 

I have a feeling there is a correlation between these two hotels because this operation that they run is exactly the same and I'm not sure it's legal but it's definitely not customer friendly and it's very discriminatory so I will follow up with a lawyer this time. 

I'll continue to update the review as things move forward so this does not happen to anybody else ever especially those with disabilities.

What a great little surprise!  From the outside, looks like an older 50’s style motel.  On the inside, fully renovated and super clean!  Great bed; nice linens and updated everything. Friendly staff!

Would stay here again in a minute!

Exceeded expectations!

Summer of 2021, driving home from MA, for some crazy reason, all other hotels were $200+, including Comfort Inn!  I was driving late at night and was considering sleeping in my car but found this gem of a property, for half the price of the other hotels/motels.  Very "small motel" looking from the outside, but the front desk was VERY helpful, including staying until 1am or so, and the room looked like it was from a top notch hotel, like a Sheraton, Hyatt, etc.  Nicely appointed, refrig worked well (froze the things I put in the small freezer and nothing more).  Bathroom was nice, though not as posh as a fancy hotel, but I stayed for half the price.  Bed was very nice and comfortable and the room was nice and quiet.  Just what I needed!  Thanks Dunmore Inn!

Very nice room!

People running it were friendly and wonderful.  Room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the king size bed was super comfortable.  Room had a nice big TV. Would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and confortable

Kind owners!  Clean room and definitely a smaller room, however that's all I needed!   A quick in and out.  It was super close to all of the surrounding restaurants/shops that you'd need in a quick trip.  I'll be back.

I am an honest person when it comes to giving reviews. People need to know what they will expect when they decide to book or going to stay at this motel. I booked through Hotels.com We traveled over 2 hours to get to this place, as we had a concert to attend to at Montage Mountain.  The photos in the site that was showed look decent. I was shocked when my husband and I arrived for a concert we was attending to. The outside look very sketchy, like look over your shoulder sketchy with hardly any inadequate outside lighting. The check in was just an empty lobby with a window and a stand with a Keurig and water to pour a cup of coffee with no one available at the desk. You have to ring a bell just to get someones attention. When we entered our rooms, the window was open and had a very musty smell. I turned on the A/C to try to circulate air; instead the A/C didn't work properly, dated bedding, hard bed, and the bathroom was a joke. How can someone confuse  the difference between hot and cold in the shower? Complete opposite. No toiletries for guest to use such as shampoo/conditioner, the toilet doesn't properly flush and no free breakfast and no free wi-fi like they have. It was locked. However, the room was clean. It is decent for a night stay but I wouldn't stay longer than that. Stay at a Microtel, Choice Hotel or an Air BnB for much longer. I doubt we will stay at this place again. To me, it looks like a "No tell motel"

Not a good value

Dunmore Inn. Sounds rather grand or historical, right?  Not!  A motel. Rooms are small. No breakfast. Hard bed.  It was very clean and it was obvious that the couple were doing a lot to upgrade and modernize it. However, I stayed at Days Inn the night before and after. They had much nicer rooms and I felt much safer. Also, the price was a few dollars less, and it included breakfast!  Second time I used Booking.com and ended up in a motel for more than I thought they were worth!
