Perfect for our snowboarding trip, very reasonable pricing and the option for 5 of us to stay in the same room. It makes the trip much easier and more fun not to have to split everyone up into separate rooms. Thanks for everything we will be back!

Perfect location and great price

This was the best place I have stayed at since I started traveling. The people at the front desk was wonderful. I highly recommend this place to stay at. They were wonderful to me there. I will come back here to stay anytime.

Budget Inn Drango CO

Believe me Budget Inn sure lives up to their name budget!! I've never been at a hotel/motel where they would charge for ice!! No shampoo, no hairdryer - their wash cloths, towels and sheets were stained! I spoke to John there and he just said that they couldn't get the stains out! either used stained wash cloths or go without! How's that for customer service?  The room smelt as though smokers were in even though it's supposed to be a non-smoking room.  I didn't sleep well at all the first night cos the sheets looked dirty and I spoke to the cleaning lady the following morning & she explained that she has relayed many messages from customers that the sheets & towels had seen better days but the owner is too cheap to do anything about it.
Shop around for better facilities!  Budget Inn is old and in need of an upgrade.  The pool in the photo does not exist! it's now a dried out hole in the ground.

Excellent walking position you can go to dinner  quiet  a little old but no deposit and really friendly staff no chance of breakfast at the hotel  attention a little old

Budget Inn had everything we needed to enjoy 2 nights in Durango and ride the Durango-Silverton Train. Convenient location, basic and functional amenities, and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful front desk clerk. There is no pool and parking is tight especially if large trucks are parked close to the entrance. We had no issues with cleanliness and got exactly what we expected for the price.

Advertised a pool and the pool is full of dirt.  Very dirty and gross rooms and way over priced.  Everyone smoking pot there.  Very disgusting. Do not stay here. have to pay for the ice.  CC machine did not work.  Rooms smelt like pot.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I wouldn’t know where to start but this place is so run down, they may be the cheapest but it’s filthy, it smells,  the broken tv and  broken furniture are part of the package.  If you can stay anywhere else i would highly recommend it.

Avoid

This place is a dump. It is nothing like the pictures you see online.  I understood that with the word Budget in their name, it wasn't the Ritz but man what a miserable experience. The workers behind the desk were extremely rude. When I asked for new pillows because the one's in the room had stains, I was told "they are in storage and we should have asked at 4:30 not 8:30. The pool is filled in with dirt and weeds are growing out of it. The towels were old, thin, and dirty looking. Also, you have to pay a quarter if you want ice from the ice machine. Don't believe the reviews or pictures that you see online. I have travelled to 39 states and this is the worst motel / hotel that I have ever stayed in.

Had a great stay. The staff was super accommodating and really great people! Rooms were clean and it’s right down the road from everything downtown Durango has to offer. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Durango.

Budget Inn - Durango

If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this place is not for you. If you're looking for a cozy place at this Durango tourism city with a reasonable price, this is the best one you can find.
The inn is small and not new. But it's clean, comfortable, good location, and keep giving you affordable rate. The manager is really nice and helpful. 
I recommend the Budget Inn Durango to those who have to stay at Durango, CO and upset about expensive hotel rates.
