While assigned to work in Eagle Pass, TX., we choose to book rooms at the Comfort Inn & Suites. The staff was pleasant and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms were renovated and kept clean by the staff daily. The rooms were equipped with a laptop and wifi for our convenience. The breakfast was outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel.

Outstanding Hotel

We stayed there for one night. It was very close to the lake, so we could go for a walk. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, beds are comfortable.
It is within walking distance of a mall and lots of restaurants and stores around.
I will definitely recommend it.

Great Hotel

Open until today I was having a good experience, but I came in and found that the person behind the desk was very inattentive, and seemed to be more interested in the computer fighting game he was playing than in intending to customers. He seem to have a bit of an attitude, was not very responsive, and seemed very bothered that customer service was interrupting his gameplay. 
Generally speaking, I hate to complain, I hate to give bad reviews, but this was unacceptable.

Front desk more interested in video game…

The staff was amazing and accommodating. The breakfast was fantastic but no where to eat. The only single complaint I had was that there is no where inside to eat so all these hillbillies went out to eat out front and were laid and woke me up on my one day off in over 3 weeks but that’s not their fault. The rooms and suites were huge. The lake was peacefulness. The tv was VERY difficult to use and they even offered a lap top in the room for those who don’t.  I loved staying there I even extended my night. 

I absolutely was 100% pleased and I’m picky. 

We stayed here one night because we could not get a room at Kickapoo Casino hotel. The beds were very comfy and the hot breakfast the next morning was very welcome. Good coffee. Friendly staff. We arrived early and they still managed to find a room ready for us.

Modest but nice hotel at a great price

I spent over 6 weeks at the Comfort Inn & Suites Lakeside during a business trip and I’ll say that it’s affordable, offers good complimentary amenities, free breakfast and a nice front lake view. Most of their personnel is not very friendly but on average they do a good job, a few of them were very friendly, courteous and efficient. Remember that you get what you pay for. My final word, It’s worth it.

Affordable and good amenities

Hotel was very nice and clean and more importantly the bed was super comfortable. Price was okay. The bathroom door swings open the wrong way which is odd, but no big deal. 
The clerk however, is another story. This guy had the personality of a rock. When I told him that I didn’t have my rewards number on me, he never offered to look it up. He acted like I had just woken him up (it was after midnight). There was zero info given regarding breakfast times or anything else. 
It’s too bad because everything else was good. 

Poor customer service

It was really hard to get access to  hotel with the street configuration to parking lot. Police were at the back entrance. Don't know what happened. We paid about twice what the rate should have been. Guys hanging around in front lobby and may have meant nothing, but attendant was always on the phone away from desk. He was not helpful. Rooms were clean and well maintained. I do not fault Hotel, but would not stay again. I don't think there is a pool or winter access.

Clean room, but curious to poor experience

The staff was friendly and helpful. The desk clerk googled the times that the museum was open for me. The room was clean. The only negative is that breakfast ends at 9am. Every other hotel I’ve stayed in breakfast ended at 10am. It has a very relaxing view of the lake.

A Relaxing Time

I was greeted by Gene Bakta and from the moment I stepped inside side the hotel the experience was great.  Gene has excellent customer service skills and does a phenomenal job managing the hotel.  The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfortable.
