Smelled weed in the hall, staff was rude, no WiFi. Requested for pillow and didn’t get one. Bathroom was small and had to pay an extra 75 dollars for the deposit. Tv also didn’t work and had to be replaced

Horrible experience 

This was the worst hotel I have ever seen. The room door did not lock. The air conditioner did not work, and the TV was out. We told the lady at the front desk and she came up to see what was wrong. I told her I want my money back if they can’t find a room with a working TV, air and that they door locked. She said no other rooms available. I asked for a refund and was granted one. I pictures of the site does not look like the hotel inside. 

The worst hotel I have ever tried to stay at

Filthy- old and dirty . Pillow that was on bed looked as if it was recently stained with bodily fluids.  Blankets looked like they were nearly 3 decades old. Was told I was getting refund of my money over 30 days ago and still waiting! 

Avoid this place!

Aweful, non smoking room smelled smokey. Holes in wall and bathroom door. Bathroom door wouldnt shut, bathtub was burnt and looked dirty. Hair in the bed sheets from previous people. Microwave non working, fridge hadnt been cleaned.

Motel 6 east ridge will keep your deposit just because they are broke during covid they make rules don't go they are low down knowing they rooms are nasty comforter dirty door wouldn't open burn marks everywhere dirty washcloth

Low down

In between a 20 hour drive, we checked into this place around 5pm. We left the hotel after a few hours due to a cockroach infestation, among MANY other things. 

I highly encourage that Hopper stop recommending this hotel at once. We would rather drive straight through to Florida from Chicago than stay in that place one more minute. Upon walking into the room, the sheets were stained and the smell was unappealing. However, we understand that you get what you pay for and we brought our own pillows and blankets just in case. We were still willing to rest there before the next long drive. However, it got much worse. It was similar to a crack house with people walking around making gestures at you with their pants down and underwear showing. Felt completely unsafe the whole time, making it difficult to sleep, due to nervously anticipating any one of the strange characters that hang out right by our door and car breaking into our room. 

After trying and failing to sleep for a few hours, I got up to use the bathroom and when I turned the light on I saw several roaches scurry up the walls and behind the light fixtures. Totally freaked out I thought it was a fluke, until a few minutes later there were 4 more scurrying across the floor. The infestation is massive, big and small. They live in all the holes and cracks of the walls. Even now an hour later, I can’t shake the chilling feeling that there is a GOOD chance there may be roaches in our suitcase. I thought Motels that bad were only seen in movies! Under their policies they claim that they are in compliance with the health codes: that could not be further from the truth, I don’t know how they are even able to allow people to stay there. 
Set it on fire and plant a garden instead.

I would rather sleep on a park bench than have to be within 50 feet of this place again.

The girl at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. She made it abundantly clear that she was annoyed at being interrupted from her cell phone. After 3 trips back to get a key card that actually worked...The bed was unmade with the dirty sheets left over from the previous guests. There was trash in the trash cans and trash on the floors. Actual urine on the wall in the bedroom. Blood stains, hair, cigarette burns and mystery stains on the sheets. The toilet was clogged. The shower did not work (handles were broken clean off). We were told that our late checkout at 12pm was okay and then they just WALKED INTO our room at 10:40am which absolutely horrified and embarassed my wife. (we were undressed).

I know this sounds too horrible to possibly be true. Unfortunately, it is...and I submitted the photos to prove it. We had no other choice but to stay since it was the 4th of July weekend and everywhere else was full. Thankfully, we had a blanket in the car that we were able to lay on. We wrapped the pillows in towels so that we did not have to touch those either. In the morning, all we wanted to do was take a shower since we felt so dirty and uncomfortable. We could not even do that since it was broken (just like everything else). We thought that maybe we could just take a quick dip in the pool since it would be better than nothing. When we went outside to the pool, it was covered in a green tarp, cigarette butts, trash and beer cans.

 If you want a motel where you cannot sleep on the bed, use the toilet, take a shower, swim in the pool, or expect ANY privacy whatsoever...this is the place for you.

Run away!

This place was horrible. Drove around the back and felt like I was in a war zone. Shady group of people loitering all around the location.  Should have trusted instincts and left but too exhausted after traveling all day and limited options for pets. The room and hallways were filthy. Hair in shower and floor smelled of urine. Left over hamburger in fridge…..trust your instincts and avoid this place.

Run away fast…

I had booked this place online from home.  This was going to be our 2nd lengthy stop before heading back home.  I’m assuming a woman was training for the front desk, because she didn’t know what she was doing.  I can put that aside. We are having to talk thru a plexi glass window that looks like it’s 4 inches thick.  We can’t hear a work anyone is saying.  We get our room key and head to our room.  Parking lot is filthy.  It gets worse.  We open the door.  The bed is nasty.  No comforter.  Air conditioner is busted open and exposed.  Windows are nasty and yellow.   Floor is black. Toilet seat is nasty.  Absolutely nothing like any of the pictures from hotels.com. We went back to the car and back to the office.  I told the woman I couldn’t stay here. She didn’t argue or anything. Just told me to call hotels.com to make sure to get my money back because I had already turned in the keys.  

Point being.  There is no way I would feel safe staying there.

Not safe enough or clean enough for me.

Spent one night on way to Florida from Michigan. The motel was noisy- generators, traffic, door slamming, weird noises from fan... I had to kill two stink bugs, one of which landed on me. Not a relaxing place to spend the night.
