This place is being used as a shelter for the homeless at risk for covid or with covid. It's been ran to the ground and has dumpsters over-spilling with thrash. There's no grass left anywhere, and there is temporary fencing surrounding the whole building. The parking lot is cordoned off.  There's questionable individuals that are hanging around the building as well. Not sure that they are actually taking reservations at this time, but I would NOT stay there at this time. There is no security and no lighting. I can only imagine how gross the inside is.

Very buget minded but not so budget

Súper friendly accommodating staff very kind would stay there again staff learned our names very fast felt like we knew them for  I would recommend you will enjoy your stay best prices in el centro you will not regret it 


Clean and super helpful and friendly

The room was clean, however it needed some very minor repairs.  Plaster was missing on the one of the walls where someone had hit it with luggage.There was no breakfast option. Low budget, but worth the expense. The staff was professional.

Stay at Super 8

I stay at a lot of different hotels and I have to say this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. In fact, I intend to contact corporate about this. Here's the run down:

1) When I first checked-in I had to ring the bell several times and yell out to get someone to check me in. When the guy finally came to check me in he was unfriendly. He did not even apologize for not responding to the bell.

2) The Wi-Fi worked only 50% of the time and it's an open Wi-Fi so you don't need a password which is basically an unsecured network.

3) Then, when I got into my room, I tried to lock the door and the bolt was broken.

4) Then I used the restroom, the toilet seat was broken.

5) Then the air conditioner was broken. When one of the guys looked at it he told me "just turn it on and off and it will cool down." I tried that several times and it did not work.

6) When I called Hotels.com to complain they contacted the hotel clerk who then took it upon himself to come to my door in person and bang on it to get me to answer to resolve my complaints. I did not answer as I felt his behavior was aggressive and he should’ve called my room not come in person.

7) They did not make my bed yesterday. 

8) Super small TV.

Usually when you go to a hotel room you will deal with maybe 1-2 of these issues, but to deal with all of them on one hotel booking is very disappointing. I will never stay at a Super 8 again. My concerns have still not been resolved nor have I been compensated for my terrible experience.

Worst hotel experience ever!!!

If you need a place to stay in El Centro and are having trouble finding another location, Super 8 has rooms.  I stayed at the property years before when it was a Ho-Jo's and it wasn't so bad.  Time has not been kind to this property.

Excellent ! Stay. Value for money. Caring staff, Good Breakfast, Nice rooms. Hearty breakfast. talented maintenance guy.        

Front Desk was fast in the check- inn process. Check-out was super fast. The manager was knowledgeable. very satisfying stay
