Simple but very clean room on old Rte 66, about 5-10 minute drive from I-40 interchange where most of the newer (and more expensive) hotels are.  Very helpful staff who even moved their car so that we could conveniently park in front of our room door. 

Very clean motel on old Rte 66

We were staying locally on our Route 66 adventure and was recommended by our Rt 66 Group. The staff was helpful and friendly and our room was squeaky clean! The hotel was not fancy but was affordable, clean, AC worked great and the parking lot was safe.

Stayed a weekend here. Bathroom was as big as a closet, no lamp in the room and the bed was hard. Didn't even get a coffee maker in the room. To top it all off I  requested a late check-out they told me it'll be $20 extra Definitely don't think I'll be staying here again.

Not that great

It was a quaint little room cozy clean and what we need was just to sleep driving through on our journey through Route 66 from Topeka Kansas to Hereford Arizona. Staff were nice and even though several truckers it was nice and quiet.

Needed a place to sleep on route 66

For the price ($50 the night with no breakfast), we did not expect more than a place to sleep in. And this is exactly what we got.
The couple at the office were willing to help (they provided us with their own coat hangers when we asked for some!).
In the room, there was a smell emanating from the very old carpet and bed linen too.
With more cleaning and general upkeep, this motel could be much better..

Ok for a night stop on Route 66.

It was late we needed to sleep.  The lady at the desk was very friendly said it was her first night. The parking lot was pretty empty and we got a room on the ground level just two doors down from the stairs going upstairs which had metal trash barrels under them, they were overflowing with garage.  So inside the room the phone was so dirty I was afraid to touch it and when my husband sat at the table near the door and looked down he found a used diaper laying under the edge of the bed.  When I called the office to tell them, she seemed very unconcerned. I through it outside on the walk . We finally we to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night to noise of mouse or rats in the wall.  And when we opened the door to leave the diaper was still laying on the walkway.  Very dirty and will not recommend it to my dogs.

RATS IN THE WALLS

This is a place to sleep on your way to your final destination. Nothing to brag about. If you  are too tired to continue driving and need a bed...this is it! No radio clock. Glad that I was just passing by.
