During our trip in the Usa I booked for the first time AirB&B and it was is this farmhouse.
The location is really on the countryside and that is good! The owner and his girlfriend were friendly. There were a lot of animals around the house, horses, sheep, .... but that’s it for us.
This place was not what we expected for the more than 100$ we payed for one night, 
It was like dirty, not clean around the house , not very inviting in the house, so we left early in the morning without showering or making breakfast.
We think this house has potential but there is really a lot of work to do before it will be ok. Disappointed as I was , I did Google this place on the internet and saw it was advertised at hotel.com, at Expedia, ..... with a lot of photos that were so nice but almost nothing that we recognised from our stay because it did not look like the photos at all.
It was just a dirty old farmhouse. Sorry Guys, that is how we experienced it and from what I read in reviews on different websites , I am not the only one who is thinking this.
Some days later, I noticed the place was remove from the Airbnb website, but still on other websites.... No really, in the situation we stayed over there, I would not recommended it. Sorry !!!!

I have to shake my head and scoff at half of these reviews. It seems like the ones who complain were looking for a champagne experience on a bud light budget. Sorry folks, it's a true working farm! That, along with the many adorable animals on property, make this place a fun and unique location to stay! Expect to rough it! That's what I truly loved about staying at Mt. Rainier Ranch! Now, I appreciate the high-end lifestyle, but I know how to get down with nature and appreciate the ability to unplug and reconnect with the mountains. Here was my experience:

Scenic drive, easy to get to, and a nice escape from the city! The tipis were well appointed, the sites spacious, and although you could see your neighbors, you still felt a sense of serenity and privacy. We were in the 3rd tipi and our doors opened to the babbling brook. There was a fire ring nearby and they provided an outdoor table. Two clean port-a-potties on the edge of the fields and a bathroom provided in the main farmhouse (that was open for anyone staying on site.) Travis, the property manager, was always available by phone and Lindsey, the online coordinator, was very quick with communication.

Now, the fun part. The animals! We met a baby lamb and a 1 month old baby pygmy goat who DEMANDED to be held! The animals on this farm make Mt Rainier Farm the best experience! I knew we would be around the animals so I brought plenty of apple slices and was met with tons of nudges and head bonks from the many animals on property! There were donkies, llamas, alpacas, horses, cows, bulls, sheep, lambs, goats, pigs, and a comfortable fenced in area where you can snuggle up with the pygmy goats and a baby calf! If we had spent more time there, I would've connected with the local horse lady who takes you on guided horse back tours. Our dog was allowed to be unleashed and she had a blast exploring the property! (always staying nearby!)

But because there were free roaming farm animals around, expect lots of poop on the property! This is a true working ranch, not something that's been touched up for Country Living magazine and that's what makes the experience true and unique. They rent out their farmhouse and tipis to help pay for maintenance on the ranch. Expect the standard dilapidated storage barn, a shed where you cut your own firewood, and a landscaped speckled with random shelters for the animals who are so comfortable and so happy. Plus, after the many months of rain, there was mud around which was tracked into the tipi. It's camping!! There's that touch of roughness of what comes with being in the natural outdoors.

Elbe is right around the corner so there was access to local taverns and a cute line of train cars that had a restaurant and a pizza joint. The closest gas station/convenience store was 20 mins away, so plan on stopping in Eatonville for all your necessities. It's close to Mt. Rainier visitor center and tons of hiking and next to world renowned lakes known for fishing!

My heart was full and my soul felt nourished after a weekend at Mt. Rainier Farm. The property managers were inviting, loving, earthy people with calloused hands, weathered skin and a "mi casa su casa" attitude that's so hard to find nowadays. They made you truly feel like you were part of the farm and family. Thank you, Travis and Lindsey, for a much needed weekend.

Connect back with nature on this true working farm!

I love this place and will certainly return and recommend it to anyone of substance. I needed to unwind and connect with nature, escape the daily grind. I went alone, and yet never once felt lonely because I was surrounded by peaceful sounds of the mountain and water ways. I don’t fish myself, but there’s certainly some amazing spots to do so! I stayed in one of the giant teepees along a creek. The teepee was lovely- warm (there’s a propane heater), cozy (to my surprise beautiful soft carpet and a real bed with a memory foam mattress better than my own at home!). The staff were kind and I enjoyed watching them work with the animals on site. 
The animals are all rescues, and so beautiful and happy. You can tell how much love is put into this place and that they truly care for all the flora and fauna. I wish more places were so delightful. 
I’m going to include some photos, but you really should go see it yourself. Words don’t do justice to the magic of this ranch. If you’re someone who appreciates nature, animals, peace and need to unplug I highly recommend this gem. There’s loads of fun things to do as well if you’re adventurous, Mt Rainier is a mere five miles away! 
I arrived there tired and left inspired. Thank you Mt Rainier Ranch- I’ll be coming again soon! ❤️

A slice of heaven 

I booked a 2 night stay back in June for a late August stay. I called them to make the reservation and got the same "deal" as Living Social was offering.
3 days before I was supposed to arrive I get an email stating my reservation was “cancelled”. I called immediately and got a voicemail. Several hours later I received a call back and I asked if that was an error. I was told they “overbooked” and they had to cancel my reservation. No apology whatsoever. They even asked me if I could change my vacation dates! Um, NO! They left me in such a bind and had to find something else last second.

I asked to speak with a manager and was told they have none onsite but they would “email” them my request to speak with someone. I never heard back, not once. Even after calling back several times requesting a call back. I had to get my money back via my credit card company because they couldn’t bother calling me back.

I’ve never had such terrible service. I would NOT recommend them at all. Buyer beware.

Horrible customer service.

This is an animal rescue farm turned B & B to help defray costs of caring for the various animals.  When we were there, there was just one manager (Pitt)  trying to do everything that needed to get done with just one helper.  This is a 240 acre old ranch with a farm house built in the early 1900’s with little or no up grades.  There was no pond to fish in like 2 different persons said there was, and the bridge over the East River that runs through the property and has to be crossed to enter the property looks and sounds like it is on its last leg. The only saving grace for the whole trip was how hard the manager tried to please everyone’s wishes and how hard of a worker he was.
