Best Western Hotel chain is one our favorite chains to use, especially in smaller towns.   I usually can count on good value, local service and some local advice, nice rooms, sometimes a bit dated, but still nice.  The Elko property failed to deliver on all counts .  It is best to just leave it at that and I hope that ownership decides to take another look on what their business plan is.  We will not be back.

Best Western is a great brand, yet sometimes local ownership has a different agenda.

Greeted by a nice gentleman, offered to show us the room after he quoted the nightly rate.  Sold!  Lovely room, clean, nice decor, car parked in front of room.  The place has a feel of nostalgia.  Would stay here again, so happy we stopped at this gem in Elko.

Nice little gem in downtown Elko

Nice older property downtown. Clean room and friendly owner/manager. If you want a basic accomodation for a fair price this is it. It is on a busy street but was quiet after 10 PM. No breakfast but there are several other choices nearby. We would stay here again.

Basic nice property

clean, cozy, comfortable & car right outside our door. the owner/manager is kind, pleasant, accommodating & went out of his way for us. we checked out & were back on the road, when we got a phone call 20 minutes later. he had found my ring in our room!! (I thought I had put it in my bag & it must of fallen out.) we immediately drove back & I will be forever thankful for him reuniting me with my most precious sentimental ring. it was my father's ring and brings back so many good feelings of him, when I wear it in his honor. the owner/manager's honesty, integrity, thoughtfulness & effort to contact us after we left is something so kind & rare, I will always appreciate what he did for me & never forget.

charming spot to stay in elko

This little motel was a nice stay after a long drive from San Francisco.  Very quiet and good hot water with nice water pressure.  Much cheaper than the chain hotels but better (more prosomal) service.  We will be back!

Charming little motel in Elko

Stayed here because at this one story small motel you could park right by your door. Small clean rooms. Front desk friendly and nice. Even though it's beside a busy road was very quiet at night. No coffee in room but restaurants close by. Great location. Heat is controlled by office which was a little chilly for us. Very reasonable price. Will stay again.

Nice Quiet Very Clean Room

Like another reviewer said, this motel is a good option when visiting Elko. It is a typical small, older (but clean) motel but it has some good features like a comfortable bed, fridge, microwave and DVD player. The clerk was nice enough to let us stay in the room that had the green bathroom. I saw a picture of it when I booked the motel, and I asked if we could have the room (No. 12 by the way) and the clerk consented. The motel has a cool light-up sign as well! But along with the quaintness, the motel had a few down sides as well. I am a light sleeper, and the noise from the road made it so I didn't sleep very well. And of course there were some people who were talking outside our room at 6 a.m. But anyway, it is a good option to consider.

Quaint little motel

Clean, nice beds, laundry, patio, friendly staff, road is a bit loud all night long, bathroom sink not operable and no bathtub plug. I came for clean and tub for my toddler... not happy. Asked for stopper and not to be moved after 2 nights with tons of empty rooms. Got air and sorry charlie...   Not good customer service at in this area. Feel slighted! Manager kept interrupting  me speaking though kind to hook up DVD player for my toddler.

Inappropriate Room Assign, Clean, Staff Rude

I recently spent five nights in this motel while in town for work. The room and grounds were clean and well maintained. The owners are conscientious about their clientele and consequently it is quiet and feels safe. I was pleased with the size of the room and the walk-in closet as well as the refridgerator that was in the room. The fridge was larger than a mini and it was also quiet. There were no odd odors in the room and it was not heavily perfumed. The shower water was consistently hot, the bed was comfortable and everything worked properly.
  I found it to be an excellent value for the money and I am glad that options like this still exist. The owners are friendly. I would be glad to stay here again next time I am in the area.

Pleasant Stay / A Good Option

Retro motel that doesn't look very impressive from the outside but we had a clean, comfortable room with fridge, microwave and walk-in closet for our 3-night stay. Friendly staff. Good location. Great price. Recommended!
