This is a zero star! I’ve come to this hotel the past year at least 10-15 stays and would have been more if it was not a 2 day only stay! The people here are good people the older lady is amazing, the younger girl over night is sweet but ADRIAN is terrible! I’ve had an incident before when he was at the back door of the hotel and I tried to come inside to the vending machines and he said “Do you need something” I said “I was trying to get a pop from the machine” as he was HOLDING THE BACK DOOR OPEN HE SAID TO WALK TO THE FRONT!!!!!! I thought of how rude that was and at the time was winter so very cold!!! This last visit I stayed here I over slept after gettin in at 3am I had no charger for an alarm on my phone as well as THEY DONT SUPPLY AN ALARM CLOCK IN THE ROOM I was woken up at 1:07 PM with ADRIAN saying check out is at 11! I said ok getting my things together now. I call back maybe 5 mins later asking if I could just extend my stay(Obviously have the money) and this was only my 1st day of the week so at this time I’m allowed my 2 days stay… I was told I had to leave and can’t stay there ever again as well as my deposit being kept for OVER SLEEPING (with no alarm clock, no houskeeping and a 1PM “wake up call”)! I was also told by ADRIAN that the manager SUDDY OR SUTTY not exactly sure of the spelling but that was the one who demanded me to leave with keeping my deposit!!!! I asked to speak with the manager and was told he was in earlier and not sure when he’ll be coming back!!!! I then asked for a piece of paper to take the managers information down he gave me a business card that didn’t have any room to write on! Refused to give me any information to speak with someone higher! The fact I’ve been coming to this hotel for so long never having a problem with anyone never damaged anything never smoked in their rooms and HE always is the one to have an issue with something!!!!! HE SHOULD NOT BE IN GUEST SERVICES!!!! Oh and he said I was drunk!!!!!! So I advise you all to make sure you don’t over sleep or you won’t get your money and you’ll be banned from staying here!!!!!

DISAPPOINTED CONFUSED AND VERY POOR SERVICE

Clean room...lacked necessities for amenities...plenty of towels and shower gel / shampoo in dispenser...non-working hair dryer...continental breakfast...not diabetic friendly...overall not a bad stay for rate and location to services, restaurants, highway

Sprucewood Inn Overnight Stay

Terrible, this place used to be decent when they were owned by a previous owner. NOw the rooms have mold the bathroom is disgusting looking. The only benefit was the pool and breakfast but they were so rude to my kids because they used the service. never again.

Last resort selection:  This place had stinking pillows, ancient blanket with hair wadded into the nap. Breakfast was very limited.
Security consisted of desk clerk locking himself in at the front desk.

The room was very clean and the people were very courteous. They had coffee available other than just breakfast.  The breakfast was light, but works good for me.  If you are a big breakfast eater this may not work as well  for you.  

Nice Clean rooms and Courteous Staff

When I'm traveling with my wife she prefers that we stay in a hotel, but when I am by myself I prefer the convenience of a motel like the Sprucewood Inn, where I can park right outside my room.  All I need is a comfortable bed and a shower, and I prefer a wood floor to carpeting, which Sprucewood offers.  Arriving on August 14, 2022, this motel met my needs exactly.  As is typical for motels, there was some chipped paint on the walls of the outside stairway, but that's what happens when you paint concrete, and it did not deter me.  The room was quiet and even included breakfast with fresh coffee and bagels in a sunlit room near the registration desk.  And at $73/night plus tax I felt it was fairly priced.  It was also nice to have a Tim Horton's right across the street!

I stayed here with my wife, the room was neat and clean spotless. They served nice breakfast in the morning. Staff was very professional towards guests. We will definitely comeback for sure. Recommend to everyone.

Nice clean rooms with gorgeous pool

I got the room for 2 nights with really cheaper rate than any other hotels even on Friday and Saturday night. Once the AC stopped working but the staff members immediately changed my room without any arguments. Nice place with clean rooms and clean pool. Such a wonderful place than previously what It was. Glad to see upgrade in this place.

Best hospitality

We got a best price that you can not beat. It's nice clean hotel with complementary breakfast. They have the best pool where you can enjoy with family. Surrounding is very safe so you don't need to worry about that. No one can match these facilities with this price. Go for it. Surely recommended for everyone.

Staff is really friendly and good price

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Spruce wood Inn. It was clean and well kept with a family friendly atmosphere. Jenny was very kind and helpful, he had a great attitude and customer service skills. Over all it was a great experience. Will definitely be back
