Based on my August 16, 2024 experience, I would stay at the Travel Inn again.  The young man who checked me in was courteous and personable.  The room rate, paid at the hotel, was reasonable (and virtually the same as online booking companies -- and I'd rather the hotel got more of my money).  Room was clean, seemingly updated of recent.  Bed comfortable.  Bathroom clean.  Given reviews I had read, my expectations were exceeded, especially for the price I paid.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Warning to everyone, it looks nothing like on the webpage and when we arrived, the entire motel was closed off, even the parking area. It looks very run down and shady. All the doors were closed. When we knocked on the door, we were told our reservation was no longer valid, after they had taken our payment over Booking.com. The guy barely spoke English and said there had been a storm and he had to close the motel down three days ago.... instead of informing us, he took our money. So with no place to go, we had to find another hotel.  I contacted booking twice since to try and get my money back. Booking says it's up to the manager to refund the money, he says it's up to booking. Haven't seen my money. BEWARE!!!! This place should NOT be on Booking.

I needed an inexpensive hotel to just get some sleep before continuing my road trip the next morning. This was perfect. Clean room, cold AC, no musty smell, comfortable bed- everything was just great. Had a good nights rest and continued on my trip. Excellent value. Friendly staff.

I picked this property based on reviews and I wasn't disappointed.

I have a few things I look for in a room when traveling and this property did well by me. Clean, comfortable, a good value and the sink/tub drain well. Good-sized room. Parking lot very well lit. 

As for breakfast, I looked at the lack of offerings and moved on.

A  nice surprise

Would defiantly stay at this hotel if in the area again very clean and felt very safe. Plenty of light outside of hotel to make you feel welcome at night. Right off the interstate but road Noises weren’t an issue. If you are in the area and need a place to stay this would be a great place

Hidden gem

Nice lil place. The floors were dirty. So bad got feet black. The tub had no stopper so toddler had hard time taking a bath. But it’s a good place for one night. Other than the dirty floor and tub issue it was a clean place for the night. I would stay here again if come back this way.

Would stay again.

The room was clean, the wifi worked, the bed was comfortable, the locks were new and secure. All I needed was an affordable place to spend the night to break up my trip into manageable segments and this fit the bill.

Clean and secure

Was passing through Alabama and needed somewhere to rest. I was pulling up all kind of hotels that was way AWAY from were i was located at the time. Then i came across the TRAVEL INN LOCATED AT--1080 COUNTY ROAD 208, EUTAW, ALABAMA 35462. There right off the interstate 20&59 EXIT-45 The UNION EXIT. I READ THE reviews that was posted about the HOTEL, Etc i was shocked. Most of the reviews was Fake and False. I called the hotel asked a few questions and was on the way. When i arrived the manger was waiting on me. Got CHECKED in 
And he showed me where too park my truck with the trailer with no problem. I can say they honor TRUCK drivers, military and senior. There is
Also a 24hr TRUCK stop right next door to the hotel. I really liked the hotel cause it had a old school water fountain in the FRONT. The grass was cut. The hotel has security cameras
All the way around and well lite. The 
Rooms are a very nice size. The bed sheets and pillows and pillowcases were all very White no stains anywhere. I couldn't even find any stains on the towels. While over looking the room i didn't even see any kind of spiderwebs in the corners. Even though the hotel sits right off the freeway it was very quiet. Ez on Ez off. The gentleman that checked me in was VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY. THAT REALLY WENT ALONG WAS with me. It was late and 
I explained my situation and he was very understanding. I would like too say Thank YOU so MUCH. I Will be back again and i will be stoping and staying again. To the OWNERS OF THE HOTEL YOU'LL KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. OLD SCHOOL HOTEL

Old School Hotel With A New school LOOK.

Does not look like the photos on the website! The rooms were dirty and smelled awful. We were given smoking rooms even though I booked Non-Smoking and nothing else was available. Bathroom was dirty. Never again. And the security locks on the door were missing.

Was the only hotel available when I booked

We stopped here without planning ahead much. It's very modest from the street except for the bright paint job (orange! lime green!). The front desk staff person was very nice and checked us in quickly. Our room was freshly renovated and smelled clean and smoke-free. The biggest issue we had was the showerhead being very low (even for me and I'm 5'4"; my husband is 6'4" so he really had to scrunch down!). But the bed was very comfortable--hit the sweet spot in firmness. And the breakfast (included in the price) included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, all of which were very tasty.
