This place has a special place in my memories of nasty places I’ve stayed. I work for a company that requires many overnight stays, and I have stayed in some of the worst over 30 years on the road. Sometimes you are limited in your choices. This is a place most construction workers would not stay in. No internet, 9 channels on tv, all grainy, sketchy area ( meth heads) and dirty. I would have rather pitched a tent in the woods by a stream to bathe in. I would recommend driving another hour before staying here. Incredible the local health department and authorities allow this place to operate. Stay away. It’s that bad.

Hard to put into words.

The room was fine, nothing to write home about, the towels a wash clothes were stained, but smelled and appeared to be clean. No bugs. Clean linens. Bed was okay. Worst part was some rando banging on my door past midnight asking if some girl was with me. He did not stop knocking until I told him to go away. Quite obnoxious. But not management's fault. Front desk guy was nice.

Passable but you could just as easy not get lucy

Bad.  I was traveling alone and just needed a place to shower and put my head down at night.  If I had been traveling with my wife, this would have been a no-go.
-1. The room was fairly dirty. 
-2. The door didn't fit tightly. I could see daylight around the bottom of the door. 
-3. There were quite a few flies in the room when I arrived. 
-4. The TV remote didn't function and the TV picture was pretty much unwatchable, the signal was so bad. 
-5. The WiFi was pretty much useless. 
-6. The reading light over the bed didn't work. 
-7. The fitted sheet kept popping off during the night, exposing a VERY old mattress. 
-8. I refused to use the A/C as I didn't want all of the dust and filth to get thrown into the air.
I really tried not to look too closely at most aspects of the room, but this place didn't meet the lowest standard that I would normally expect from a hotel.
The 2 positives that I could come up with were that it was pretty quiet considering the gap around the door, and my interactions with the staff were not awful.  That might have been different if I had complained about the room at the time.  There was just nothing they were going to do about all of the issues with the room during my stay.
I can just say that someone did a hella good job with the room photography for the ads.  They really don't represent what you actually get.

PLEASE choose a different hotel....

The bed was comfortable, but the room we had definitely wasn't like the one pictured on the website.  Room was clean, but a little less than desirable.  The TV had a few channels working.  One was a cooking channel, 2 were advertisements for Direct TV and news.  So luckily, I had Netflix on my phone and was able to watch a movie.  We had brought a bottle of wine to drink and found that there weren't any cups in the room.  So we drank the wine like a bunch of teenagers sitting around a campfire and drank out of the bottle.  LOL  The place was clean and budget friendly.  The TV not having working channels was the biggest issue.  We had dinner before we arrived and had planned a night in since we had a big day planned the next day.  As someone else mentioned, no breakfast.  About 5 miles away is a nice place called Bisquit World.  We ate there and enjoyed our meal.

Affordable and clean

Our beds were comfortable. The rooms were mostly clean, just needed a good scrubbing.
This was an elderly girl trip. Our purpose for our hotel room was just to sleep. And the people working at this motel were very friendly and helpful. There is no coffee pot when they will let you borrow one and there is hot coffee in the office. No breakfast. We brought our own coffee, fruit and instant oatmeal.

Budget girls trip.

Cozy rooms, clean, and very comfortable beds. Friendly host. Location perfect for state fair visit. Close to downtown Lewisburg where there are art and craft shops, historic cemetery, and nice restaurants. 

Quaint and Clean

Liked · Motel M is pet friendly and about 2 miles farther from I-64 than the chain motels - a pleasant drive through a beautiful small town. It is across from the state fair grounds and a short hop to grocery, food and gas. The property is old but is well maintained with grass and flowering shrubs. The check-in lobby is a little small and dark (needs updating), but the staff is welcoming and efficient. Our room was very clean and the bed and bed linens were quite comfy.  As an older couple, we felt safe at this property. An excellent value (comparable to most Super 8s or Red Roof Inns). We will definitely stay again.



Great Value - Clean and Comfy

Great place to stay, close to everything, very quiet, very clean, owner so nice. Across from the location of the state fair. Snacks and waters in our room when we arrived. My husband and I went to Lewisburg to get away for the weekend for our anniversary.  I will definitely be back.

Hidden Gem in Lewisburg

This is a great little motel.. Nicely remodeled rooms. The owners are very accommodating and everything was vert clean  Several choices nearby to eat and drink.. We would absolutely stay here again. 5 Stars!

Great little motel

Stayed for the great price despite a few poor reviews. Glad I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and nice the room and grounds were. I asked and as I suspected it has new owners doing a great job and making big plans for the place. I have no complaints, had everything I needed and would definitely stay again.
