The night receptionist was the sweetest man..made sure that we were comfortable & everything was good. The morning reception was not friendly at alll. He was harassing us & just made it very uncomfortable staying there. Won’t be staying here again.

Decent

I had been long standing loyal customer, dispite of the horrible service and attitude of the general manager, like myself he treated many guests with a snippy cold attitude with no justified reason. Its unfortunate that he is so unpleasant with no hospitality! Im no longer choosing to patron there because of this man!

General Manager always rude and unprofessional!

We like that it's pet friendly at a reasonable rate but the room was a bit outdated with ratty chairs, peeling wallpaper, and grungy tile. Our toilet seat was barely attached to the toilet. The room size was nice but the room description online indicated that it had a recliner but all we got was a wobbly old wooden side chair. The TV sits on a credenza lower than the bed height so it's nearly impossible to watch tv in bed unless you sit up. The room had a coffee maker but no coffee or cups or anything. The breakfast was great with lots of options. The location is good but getting to it can be a pain. As a pet friendly hotel, I would expect it to have a designated area for pets to relieve themselves but there was nothing. Staff was friendly and check was simple. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars - mainly because of the price and that our dogs were welcome there.

Budget friendly and pet friendly but with issues ...

Our room was clean and comfortable. The front desk were all very pleasant. The continental breakfast was better than most (they even had whipped cream and berry sauce for the waffles!). The hotel is across the street from west acres shopping and center and is near the other main shops. Great location.

Great hotel and great value a

Needed a place to stay to get a few hours of sleep before catching westbound Amtrak Empire Builder at 0324 am. This worked well from both economic and locational standpoint. 15 min. drive to depot.  Room met all the criteria one would require for a comfortable overnight stay. King room on upper floor was oversize in comparison to most hotels today. Clean and would do it again. 

Short stay to Catch Amtrak

My room was clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.The staff was very friendly and made recommendations for local restaurants. The location is close to restaurants and shopping. It is minutes to the airport.

Very nice hotel

Room was large, well equipped & very clean. Nice size indoor pool, hot tub and functional sauna. Our room was on the 1st floor. We were able to park next to our room, then use the inside corridor to walk to the pool area, lobby and breakfast area. A very convenient layout! 

Nice breakfast which included scrambled eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, a yogurt machine with toppings. Raisin Bran, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, fruit loops & granola cereal. Oat meal packets, 3 waffle machines with toppings like strawberries, blueberries, choc chips, etc. bagels, English muffins, sweet rolls & muffins. Juices, flavored water, coffee & tea. 

Target store is across the street. Grocery stores are a short walk. Lots of restaurants also a short walk, including Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Chick-fil-a, etc.. The mall is also only a block away. 

The Kelly Inn is an excellent choice. The nightly rate is also better than many other hotels in Fargo. We would stay hear again when in the area.

Excellent Hotel.

Very, very, clean room. We appreciated the extra attention to detail...such as the deflector for air conditioner not to blow upward but outward, night light on alarm clock.  If anything a curved shower curtain bar would help. Every time I turned around I was picking up my shampoo bottle.  The workout equipment in the room was different. With being tall and two bad knees
...and the toilet low enough for a toddler to sit down, I had to remember my moves from the game Twister to get on and off the the toilet.other than that....the room was beautiful and well lit! The breakfast excellent, the check in and check out clerks were courteous and friendly. Absolutely would stay again! The only reason not a 5 was the darn workout I had. Outside of Inn was unremarkable, just concreteparking lot. Walking distance for shopping and eating.

Clean, Quiet, Comfortable

No frills, just a quick and easy check in, clean and quiet room, above normal breakfast...book it.  Nothing to complain about, you can't go wrong.  The location is easy to navigate and the hotel clerk advised us on restaurant choices.

Compared to other's in this price range, great choice.

This was my 2nd visit ,First time last Nov.and back again.The front desk people were vey nice and helpful with all our questions.The rooms clean with lots of space .Pool area was also very nice.Morning breakfast was excellent aways kept fresh ,this is great place for families,not to mention $$ cost to stay there is great.
